Official 2025 NFL Off Season Discussion!!!

I'm starting to really hate these mofos
Free agency is OVER
So stop cutting & trading away good players
This is not a fucking Madden video game

Trading away a 1,000 yard back for peanuts is fucking stupid
Just because he was going to get paid $5 million this year
Every other day its something with this team
I'm starting to hate these motha fuckas !!!

49ers going with a full rebuild. But not ever GM knows how to draft the right players and they gotta be lucky as well because it's not easy and if you get it wrong in the draft, teams usually never recover from it.

49ers trading and releasing everyone like they can rebuild this team back to being a contender, it's dangerous how they're doing things.

Howie drafted well, but he had vets on the team as well because you gotta have someone to mentor the rookies as well playing at a high level. My eagles hit on almost every draft pick which isn't easy because sometimes those picks could backfire.

Good luck to your 49ers, hopefully they have a plan on how they will construct the team.

For the first part of last season.....
Jordan Mason was leading the league in rushing
I think he was only behind Derrick Henry
Dude only played 12 games, but still had almost 800 yards
Averaging 5.2 yards per carry
And they traded him away for like a late round pick swap
And to a damn NFC team at that
Man..........is McCaffrey even going to stay healthy this season ???

Yikes, but the GM better have a replacement in mind because like you said, it's dumb that they're trading players who were able to contribute for peanuts.

The Rams will most likely win the NFC West
The Lions will most likely win the NFC North
Every damn year Jordan Mason has been a 9er, hes averaged over 5+ yards per carry
So trading away a proven starting caliber 1,000+ yard RB
(Who actually runs better than McCaffrey)
To the team you will most likely be competing with for a wild card playoff spot
For just a 6th round & 5th round pick swap?

"Telling me your tanking for Arch Manning, without telling me your tanking for Arch Manning" :hmm:

@CurtDawg , I saw saying this since we drafted him that he run the ball better than CMC...Brother, I'm pissed about this trade!!

The only sense this trade makes is that they would go all in on jeanty.. so they will have Purdy, jeanty, Kittles

on the other hand mason just filled in that slot the Vikings been missing since cook and makes the Vikings more attractive for Rodgers to sign to .. 2 dangerous wr, running back and tight end

Nah the 49ers won't draft Ashton Jeanty in the 1st round
They usually draft RB's in rounds 3-5
And I think they will "double up" in this draft (& hope at least one pans out to be good)
So we will go into the season with.....
Christian McCaffrey, Isaac Guerendo, Rookie #1, Rookie #2
This is what they almost always do
The 49ers saved $5 million by trading Jordan Mason + he was going into the last year of his rookie contract anyway

As far as the Vikings go
Now they have a legit 2 headed monster with Aaron Jones & Jordan Mason
Plus the weapons at the WR position
The QB is the only question mark on offense stopping them from getting in the playoffs again
The Vikings are (sneaky) loaded on offense and + they still have a good O-line

Smh they really have that much hope for mccaffery? Dude is one more big hit away from sitting out the season again or retiring.. I would be looking for the future right now.. I definitely thought he deserved the mvp a yr ago but dude suffered a serious leg injury and idk if he going to be the same player or know how long he gonna last.. as far as the Vikings I always thought their biggest mistake was letting go of cook cause he made them a complete offensive onslaught… I saw how mason did early this yr b4 his injury and if he can return to form it makes them an offensive powerhouse once again if used right
