Joshua will never fight Wilder. He has too much money already. Belts don't make it worth the risk. He saw what happened to Brezeale.

Wilder TKO'ed Breazeale in 1. Joshua did in 7.

Joshua TKO'ed Molina in 3. Wilder did it in 9.

Triangle theories don't work in boxing.

If/when Wilder gets through Ortiz, and *if* Joshua gets by Ruiz, I don't think Joshua will be the one dodging Wilder.

I think Fury and Top Rank will be the ones putting up roadblocks/dragging out a fight with either of them

True, but Shawn is a different animal. I predict Shawn will win the first 3 rounds because of his style, and Spence will work himself back to win the remaining majority. It’s going to be a good ass fight....
I’ll ride with this. Put Spence knocks him out soon as he gassed. I don’t think Porter can get out of that bulldog mentality. Once he gets rocked he abandons the game plan. Spence just need to touch him, slide and do more work from there.

You're inferring something that I did not write.

I was speaking of the WAY Wilder knocked out Brezeale. The ferocity. The power. You think Joshua has any reason to get in the ring with Wilder at this stage? He already hinted at retiring if he loses the Ruiz fight. Meanwhile Wilder said he is open to fighting Joshua with or without the belts on the line.

The Szpilka, and Ibragimov KO's were FAR worse than the Breazeale KO. If neither of those deterred Joshua, I don't see how Wilder's latest highlight reel KO changed anything. Especially when considering that latter victim was able to stand up afterwards.

Care to respond to the entirety or is that all you got?

You're clearly a boxing fan, so I didnt feel the need to go into detail. I've already mentioned two Wilder KO's that were a lot scarier than Breazeale's.

Joshua has already made a mint, so the possibility of him walking away will always be there. If he were going to quit, doing so after the Ruiz loss made sense if his heart was no longer in it. He chose to keep at it, and now that his 0 and his aura of invicibility are gone, there's not much he has left to lose by fighting Wilder (assuming he can get through the Ruiz rematch).

I just think...basically he don't want that smoke and sees no upside to fighting Wilder now. If he gets the belts from Ruiz I think he ducks Wilder by fighting mandatories. Maybe, and I do mean maybe, he fights him years down the line to age him out and let him take more damage or even lose.

Even with his loss, and a Wilder loss, I think it's still the biggest fight in boxing...people would still want to see that matchup finally go down. But I am doubtful that it ever happens.

I ain't got no dog in this fight, but...it changed everything in my opinion. And I can even source AJ's own words to back that up.

That 1st round Breazeale KO played a huge psychological game on Joshua's mental getting up for that Ruiz fight. Matter of fact, he said in an interview that he hoped it would take Wilder longer to get Breazeale out of there and when it didn't he said later that he had that Breazeale KO on his mind the night of his fight with Ruiz. That shit affected him some way. lol

Like you I don't agree with the triangle theory in boxing too but aside from all them other comparable wins, what Deontay did to Breazeale and how he did it affected him a magnitude order higher than any other comparable wins mentioned above.

I didn't know/hadn't read Joshua admitting that, but him wanting to put on a show and fighting reckless (his words) in the Ruiz fight is a lot different than him dodging a Wilder fight out of fear/risk. Maybe I give Joshua too much credit, but I just can't imagine him being truly afraid to get in the ring with another fighter.

You think the nail is gonna be able to withstand 12 rds of heavy hands from Beterbeast?

I'm going to say yes. Hasn't Biteribev been dropped a couple of times? Plus I think Gvozdyk is the better boxer between the two. One of these 0's gotta go. Oh yeah, and I don't see this one going the distance.
