Damn. Nobody cared about Berlanga, Kownacki, Adames, Lubin, or J rock lol.

Not the best night of fights.
Ironically enough, the fights themselves were great...people dont watch these fights, wait for the big names, get disappointed and then say there are no good fights...the 2 main events were very good

Adames bodywork is very impressive...J Rock's skill level is great as always but it was clear from early out that Adames was stronger than him...I fucks with J Rocks coach Breadman but while I dont agree with the stoppage, it was far from the worse I have seen

Lubin's opponent did get up at 9 and that stoppage was worse

As usual these assholes have 2 competing events so I didnt watch Berlanga but his fight seemed like it was good too and he underwhelmed once again...dude looked like the second coming of Tyson when he was beating on bums...now, even his power doesnt seem like all that ever since his opposition improved and his opponents arent even world beaters yet...Canelo would have murdered him

You're right. I was switching back and forth and missed a lot of the JRock fight. I wanted to see a spectacular knockout from Berlanga which didn't happen.

I shouldn't have said it was a bad night of fights. I should have had one on the laptop and the other on the tv. Yeah they messed us up having them at the same time.

They always fucking do it. Its like they are more interested in fucking up the other man's promotion than trying to maximize their shit.

When I say people dont watch those fights, I wasnt talking about you...talking more about the casual type fans who will say there are no good fights while missing out on great fights that have less popular names

i understood jroc trainer issue. this might be jroc last real chance. and even though he was losing the fight, he was exchanging .

berlanga hasn't look good since his level of comp went up. no more soft touches with him. i don't see where he can go unless he change trainers .

i just wonder now if there was a step aside deal for Tszyu or if it means he's vacating 1 of his 154 belts
I think Mel should vacate the belts. I don’t fuck with Tim Tszu like that but I respect how he moved.
  1. He could’ve stayed over in his comfort zone in Australia and fought a bunch of bums
  2. He instead took a deal with Showtime and stayed relevant (even his hometown fights).
He deserves a shot at the title or titles in my opinion.

Lmao, I screamed laughing when reading your message.
I also heard from the grapevine that TopRank maybe losing their contract w/ ESPN b/c of their plummeting numbers which means, the genius Al Haymon will be not only winning for 2023 but many years to come w/ super big fights and not the average joe fights we've been use to.

i wouldn't be surprised if Al starts playing with different weight divisions & sets up the next fight big fight w/ Boots/Martin or Tszyu/Benavidez, or Bivol/Berlanga. I know, I'm reaching but just like UFC at times play w/ weight division fights, so should boxing ongoing and consistent

Yeah he got the W but hurt and exposed tonight, TR matchmakers gonna have to be careful with who they put him in there with next
But he’s a prospect. I think we throw around the word “exposed” too loosely these days.
What’s wrong with a young fighter going through adversity? Anderson is still green.
I wouldn’t put too much stock into that.

It was his first time going past 6 rounds lol as a pro. He’s never fought a 12 rounder before. Give the kid a break.

I mention that due to how there were a good amount of hype on him being the next great American HW and him talking about how he's gonna retire at 27 etc. The boxing twitter folks that bought into the hype were saying he already beats any HW besides Fury and Usyk right now when I think he prolly gets beat vs any top 25 HW right now
