So some days I kind of wish that it wasn’t a superhero show.. because the black family part is really Fucking good. Like really good..
I told my boy this show is great because the super hero side is good but the family side....they one of the best black families on tv ever lol.
I can’t understand how everything can be so amazing with this show... and be so wrong with the theme song. I mean this is made by the same people that did girlfriends. Girlfriends theme was nice.

The superhero side in the show is what is bringing the family closer. Whoever did the casting for this show did a good job

this LaLa/Tobias thing has a lot of possibilities. This show has a lot of possibilities. Hope they get a bigger budget and solid writers for season 2, cuz it could do a lot. I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Look forward to the finale next week.

Why have Tobias be the one behind the resurrection of LaLa that makes zero sense.
1. If you had that power.. why not resurrect your sister.
2.Why not kill and then resurrect Lady Eve so you can use her as a puppet?
3. If you had this power... why let anyone else control you.
4. Why the fuck would you kill lala ... because you were terrified that he was going to snitch... only to resurrect him .... it’s not like lala wasn’t already a trouble maker for you.
This is where I’m worried about Black Lightning... they are so focused on keeping all the characters in their universe connected that they are terrified of trying to expand their universe to set up seeds for Season 2. They didn’t have to reveal what’s going on with Lala this season... they didn’t have to Lala and Tobias still connected.. they could have done a millions things differently.
Now it seems like they are trying to do to much at once.... there are moments that really remind you that the show is overseen by people who are use to creating dramatic sitcoms and not serialized television.
I still love the show... but something tells me that they are going to try and cram a million things into next weeks show.
