Heard these fuckers will kill you. Them, sailfish and cod. Which are all good. First time i ate Marlin I ate it for a week straight.
There's guidance on which fish to eat less of due to their potential toxicity. Actually, snakeheads are no more dangerous than any other freshwater fish.
IMO, snakeheads should be considered sportsfish...they are beasts on the hook. I'm on a mission to catch one this year

YEah those fresh water fish taste to earthy for my liking unless it is a trout.I haven't fished in 8ys!! I'm going to pick it up this summer.. Not really a fan of eating freshwater fish. But I enjoy fishing for the larger blugils and crappies!!

Gut it, scale it and stuff it with some jerk seasoning, wrap it in some foil and cook on the oven and then finish it under the grill to crisp up the skin.You aint kidding trout has a different taste to it!!

Man, snakeheads are good eating...don't know nothing about no mudfish up this way...When I lived in Florida....I used to hate these things.
We used to call them mudfish. Didn't know anyone who would dare to eat them.

if you havent tasted it yet.....i recommend Texas Redfish...................(its best if its blackened). that is some good ass fish man.Still good meat...
