Marvel's Jeph Loeb Teases Agents of SHIELD And Netflix Crossover
It’s New York Comic Con, and fans are being flooded with all sorts of teasers about their favorite films and television series. Of course, audiences were keen to hear updates about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and they definitely haven't been disappointed. After all, it looks like one of the executives at Marvel Television just teased an upcoming crossover between Agents of SHIELD and one of Marvel’s Netflix series.
Agents of SHIELD just wrapped up their NYCC Panel and ComicBook.com’s Kofi Outlawrecapped the exciting event live and overheard a surprising teaser. Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb was asked when SHIELD was going to take notice of all the vigilantes kicking butt in Hell’s Kitchen. He answered, saying, “Fair question. The answer is...stay tuned.”
Of course, the response has only hyped rumors of an upcoming crossover. Agents of SHIELD fans have been vocal about their desire to see the show connect with other Marvel Television productions, and the company’s Netflix series might be the place to start. With series like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage already released, fans are familiar with those characters and their MCU connections.
However, many fans have speculated the alleged crossover event may not feature heroes from any of those series. Instead, viewers are keeping their fingers crossed that The Punisher will cameo on Agents of SHIELD.
With the addition of Ghost Rider to the show, introducing The Punisher would tonally fit Season 4 of Agents of SHIELD. Seriously, the only thing that can make a dark, supernatural vigilante seeking vengeance better is another equally violent vigilante.
Rumors began swirling that The Punisher might be coming to Agents of SHIELD last month with NYCC confirmed that Jon Bernthal’s convention schedule would be shortened to accommodate his Netflix shooting schedule. Recently, it was confirmed that Marvel’s The Punisher had started shooting, but fans speculated the actor might shot some footage forAgents of SHIELD as well.
Those rumors were only strengthened when Jeph Loeb teased press at the Season 4 premiere of Agents of SHIELD. The event invited several acclaimed comic book creators like Gerry Conway to the event, and Loeb told guests at the event they would understand why he invited these people “later in the season” and “why it makes sense.”
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Gerry Conway, the man created The Punisher. It’s up for you to decide if you think his presence and public nod is a coincidence or not.
Of course, there is an issue with geography when it comes to The Punisher. The brutal vigilante is based out of New York City while Ghost Rider operates in Los Angeles. Perhaps some flashbacks will be in order? Or, just maybe, the two characters might converge over a rather nasty villain who’s got himself on both their radars.
What do you guys think? Do you think Agents of SHIELD will finally crossover with Marvel’s Netflix series this season? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
Agents of SHIELD airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. Marvel’s The Punisher will debut sometime next year.

Agents of Shield is getting better each week
Also I love the way they tell a story and use minimal effects. Like tonight with GR and the fire dude. Minimum FX but the gist and intensity were there.
The scene were the ghost chick mind meld wit dude in a coma needed werk.
They keep saying that the filming time line makes it difficult to crossover, but I think they are making it mo e complicated than what it should be, to me, if they can shoot soap operas and do the editing everyday, whats so hard about doing a few mins with a few cameo's once in a while. they act like its so impossible to do..
I don't know, they act scared even saying their names, like cant they at least get clearance to say Hulk instead of the big green guy, is Disney that petty that they would actually sue for saying names..I think its more contractual agreements and legalities about intellectual property more than anything...
but it IS coming
trust.

Because that's how they are coming off as..
I understand how difficult and complicated it can be if they were being dicks but if they were reasonable, realizing that mentioning their characters is publicity and good for business then a lot of those rules/laws can be relaxed..Its complicated as been explained to me by bgol Hollywood legal...
Some characters they can show only animated some only in comics some only on TV some only in film...
its a mess
and you can blame old man Stan for all that.
but it seems at the end of the day the Mouse is gonna gorilla pimp all these properties under one roof eventually.

I think the main problem is Disney doesn't know whether to look at Netflix as a friend or a foe, mainly because they are jealous they didn't get into the video streaming business earlier..
All it takes is one giving them the green light and all should be good..
I hope so because I don't know what worse, hearing them say the big green guy or the news being forced to now call the Super Bowl the big game instead..Oh do not fall the Marvel Disney okey doke my fiend..
we WILL have the insane classic crossover...
and soon.
this is all game...and probably some negotiating too.
there is a bunch of legal but it will get done
If NBC can give Arrow Constantine and CW can give CBS the Flash and later bring Supergirl over to the CW?
Its all good ..but remember all that is essentially

The woman who plays Daisy on Agents of Shield was asking a similar question, after season 3 ended....
Agents of shield has been much better this season.... still trying to get the end game but now we know that this definitely overlaps with Doctor Strange.
Now here is the question... Benedict is not afraid to do TV work (See Sherlock)... so is it at all possible for him to do a cameo this season.
