She look good though. The dark hair and dark eye shadow got me.

Yes. They have delivered 2 (soon to be 3) satisfying stories with the crucial story telling components (beginning, middle, and end) over the course of a single season of TV. Too bad the ratings don't do it justice or other networks and show runners might take inspiration from SHIELD.

Fritz will definitely be a challenge. How do you convince a scientist/doctor of his caliber that the world he lives, in which everything is great for him is not real? They basically have the matrix without a red pill to wake him and others up.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hacked a way to have have Daisy go through terra genesis to get her powers. On another note, I get a good chuckle while watching because my wife is so sick of Daisy. She can't stand her reaction of disbelief and how it seems to take her the longest to get up to speed in every situation.

I dunno. They have to try to separate Mac from his daughter. That's going to be a significant challenge.

All its going to take is for them to bring him up to speed
Then he'll have a long tender goodbye
And go fight Aida

Agents of SHIELD Cast Comments On How The Show Reinvented Itself This Season

Fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will notice that this season, the fourth in the show’s existence, has picked up a vastly different format than in years past. For the first three years, each season saw the agents take on one or two threats over the course of the entire season. This year, however, has been split into three pods, where Coulson & Co. take on a new threat each pod.

First we saw a now-legitimate S.H.I.E.L.D. find an unlikely ally in Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) as they aimed to take down Eli Morrow, an evil scientist who was hellbent on using an ancient text known as the Darkhold to create matter out of thin air.

In the second pod, the agents faced off a rogue Hoden Radcliffe as he managed to create an absurd amount of Life Model Decoys, or life-like copies of human beings and that has carried over to the third pod, where we see our agents dealing with a virtual reality Radcliffe created as a part of his LMD program.

According to actor Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Phil Coulson on the show, this format has allowed them to make the best season they’ve done yet.

“In fact, it’s the best three seasons we’ve ever done because it’s got these three separate sections that I really stack up against anything,” Gregg said at a press roundtable last week at WonderCon.

Henry Simmons, who plays Agent Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie on the show, agrees with Gregg.
“It’s so brave of the producers to do this. They had a format and this season they just tore it to shreds,” Simmons said. “The last one [pod] is unlike anything we’ve ever done — I love it.”

The biggest fan of the new format might be the man at top, Jeph Loeb. Loeb, who oversees Marvel Television, praised the entire Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. writing team and showrunner Jed Whedon in particular.

“Big hats of to showrunner Jed [Whedon], Maurissa [Tancharoen], Jeff Bell and all the writing staff. It’s hard to believe that we actually began this season introducing Ghost Rider… then to shift those gears and go into LMD, which is a ‘who do you trust’ paranoid thriller, and then to change it again and have it become an alt-reality that comments on the real world,” said Loeb. “Having all of those elements put together is extraordinary.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. Eastern on ABC.

As I write this I am watching a rerun from 15 when ward was trying to find malicks vault and he blew out the commercial aircraft door... After winking at the stewardess.

In just 2 episodes they have introduced the what 5th or 6th ward incarnation...

The shows on the bubble right now include iZombie, Agents of SHIELD, Gotham, and Powerless. Powerless is the newest of the bunch, while iZombie, Agents of SHIELD, and Gotham have all developed fandoms over several seasons. It will be interesting to see who makes the grade and who doesn't, as there are numerous properties in development from Marvel, DC, and more.

I'm basing this on nothing more then a gut feeling but I think that izombie and Agents of Shield will both get final seasons.

Powerless is gone and I would have to flip a coin on Gotham.

R.I.P. the patriot
he got to actually be a hero and die a hero in the framework as opposed to living in shame as a fraud and figure head in the real one
he did his thing.

also good job tying in the kids knowing how may feels about children after everything she's been through in both worlds
also shot out to phil for using a trigger phrase telling may to snap out of it.

one mess up is the body cam was on so they saw everything she did in there.

Curious LB, since you on the west coast How do you catch the new episodes?

I download everything I watch. Without exception. The only thing I watch live on TV is America Ninja Warrior and Sporting Events because they're just on while I'm working. Like right now the playoffs are on mute and I'm finishing up this new book I decided to write last week lol.

Right now I've downloaded, Brooklyn 99, the americans, shield, fresh off the boat, the breaks, better call saul, i zombie, and wentworth in the que and I'll get to it soon as I can.
I don't trust streaming. Plus when I watch something it takes me longer to watch it than normal folks I rewound Mac's introduction to Gemma about 15 times cause it was a flawless way to capture excitement as well as a good feeling in a moments time.

Those fleeting moments matter to me and TV just wouldn't do it justice. Sorry for the long answer

Yea man when I catch something I have a habit of dissecting it. Why it worked why it doesn't how it makes you feel why it makes you feel what could have been different was it flawless etc.
all that shit is rattling around up in here.

I could see just from the 1st introduction Fitz was going to be toughest. His pull was just too much and too strong. Also it is going to take Gemma to turn him.
All i know is trip better not die.

BACK.

Also like i said, EVERYONE was going to be easier than Fitz. May is even turned right now.
Fitz father is the worst thing to ever happen to him. perfect casting though.

Yeah Fitz is going to be hard but Mack is going to be heartbreaking.

I wonder who Fitz father is in the "real world".

I think they are setting up his Father as the villain for next season.

Mack is def gonna be heartbreaking. But he'll do it cause it's right like I knew he would. All it took was him betraying someone he didn't even know to come and join the group and earn his keep. didn't even have to press him lol
he's just a good man.

I'm going to say this again and again, who would ever thought Agents of Shield would be one of the best shows on TV,especially how rough it started.

I look forward to watching this every single week...

And,it's good to see Trip again. It's been two seasons, since we last saw him
