They won that one game, but they are so inconsistent its horrible. Example, they can't beat Boston to save their lives, but, the Thunder beat Boston last night without Durant?!?!? Tonight, Haslem got hurt, and the thing is, outside of the Top 4, Miami is fucking paper thin, and D Wade or Bosh have never been the most durable Players around, so quite frankly, Miami MAY be a 60 win team, LeBron will become disenchanted, and I don't see them staying together for the duration of the contracts they just signed. They definitely won't win a championship this year, and they have wrapped SO MUCH money into the Big 2.5 (fuck coat tail riding B Level ass Bosh), they don't have enough cap room, money to bring in the type of quality they need to get to the next level, so it's what you see is what you get. The only thing they can hope is that Boston gets old quick, Kobe and the rest of his posse start to slow down a little bit, etc. But, the rest of the league will continue to improve so it's not a given they will evolve into a perennial championship team... Damn shame too, shit just might blow up in their faces... :smh:

there is a lot of truth in this ^^

i was a d Wade an bron fan at one point and their attitudes/ego will not stand for 7 seasons of this. especially lebron dude is so thirsty for a ring so he can start catchin up to Kobe an MJ

In addition to this, what superstar, after having seen all the flack LeBron took signing with Miami, will really want to have their legacy tarnished by ALSO signing with them, especially if they don't win a chip in the next year or two? Actually, they have made it easy for Stars to unite and galvanize a team built to BEAT them since the media and fans hate them so much. Hypothetically say Melo and CP3 sign with the Knicks to join up with Amare, that big three would be more dangerous and versatile than Miami's, and would be loved because now they are set to beat the hated Heat! If they didn't do all this 'The Decision' side show, and smoky celebrations and shit, it might not have been too bad. Then LeBron talking about wining 5,6,7 Chips?!?!? I think they just clowned themselves a little bit. The only thing Miami can hope for in seriously improving their team, is for a star at the end of his career, willing to sign for leave veteran minimum or mid level exception, etc. looking to latch on at win a chip before they retire. But you saw how successful that can be when Malone and GP tried that with the Lakers (yeah I know GP was successful with Miami, but there is no prime Shaq to be found on the Heat this go round). It's funny how in the summer, the league and all of the Heat fans were partying and shit geeked over the signing like they were just going to walk over the rest of the league, and while I would have been excited if this was my home team, a true basketball mind would have recognized that they had built a one dimensional team with no flexibility or adaptability, and while all of the leagues regular season highlights are centered around parameter play, the Chips are won with balance and at least SOME post play, which makes the Lakers and Celtics so special. Now, you got Dudes like Dayne, putting up WHOLE NEW THREADS and breaking out the dancing .gif everytime the Heat win ONE game, no matter who it is against, T-Wolves, etc. Really Sad.... :D

Tjervey you writing them off already, as we stated we need a point to put pressure on the opposing def... Either they let bron run the point or we get billups in a denver buyout for mid level. You already know once melo leaves bullips is out...

Tjervey brings up a good point. The way teams are playing when the Heat come to town? I don't think anyone would even come to play with the Heat. They have no cap space so you're already asking someone to take a pay cut to play there.

all i know is this, the heat will make the playoffs and if healthy do u really want 2 go up against in a series a healthy heat squad with Mike Miller?
I think people forget Mike is out, for instance last night game Wade was sick but if Mike wasnt injured then you'd have him in his place dropping bombs
there are still alot 2 work out but this team is built 2 win enought regular season games and do there thing in the playoffs

 Yea on some real shit. You saw the Grizzlies? I didn't know if they won the Finals or if they just beat the Heat. Them niggas were acting like they won the finals. That pretty much tells you how teams feel about the Heat. The Heat are gonna get the best effort from any team they play every night.

What is Mike Miller gonna do different then Eddie House? They're both 3 point specialists so other than having one of them on the floor at all times I don't see how he's gonna make this huge difference that some are talking about.

When Miller comes back is he starting and the Heat will run with no point guard?

Mike Miller has a better skill set than Eddie House. He can put the ball on the floor. He is taller. It will make the team bigger in the backcourt.

mike isn't just a 3pt shooter, he's just real damn good at it
and if the insist on not startin eddie, then him and mike leading the bench works nicely

I don't see how another 3 point shooter or shooter in general is gonna help the Heat. All its going to do is take away shots from James Jones and Eddie House.

Unless Mike Miller is suddenly 7'2" what the fuck is he gonna do? They need to trade him and another few bums for a decent backup center.

Why are people acting like Mike Miller is a game changer? On that team if he gets 5 shots a game consistently it will be a lot.

Mike Miller won't come on that team and just be slashing. he's going to be a spot up shooter, who'll drive once in a while. This is not the Miller from the Grizzlies a few years ago.

If he's putting the ball on the floor - opposing teams are happy because that means lebron nor wade are putting it on the floor - two players who are more lethal as they can create off the dribble, and MM is not a shoot off the dribble player lately.

And if he's a spot up shooter, you just close out and hope he misses.

The heat's weakness is in the front court - Mike Miller doesn't affect that play at all.

I just don't see them winning the Chip. I'm not hating or anything, shit I'm a die hard Sixers fan, so imagine my pain!!!:lol:

I'm just looking at the reality of the situation. Name one team in recent (10years) memory who were as thin top to bottom as the Heat are, with two of their major stars as injury prone as Wade and Bosh (I cringe calling Bosh a major star but will for argument sake). Even if they remain healthy, which they have already proven is definitely not a given, even healthy, I don't see them beating a Lakers, Celtics in a 7 game series. Just not enough post presence and interior defense. Not only that, but teams aren't just going to lay down because they have LeBron and Wade on the squad. I really which they'd tried for a Amare instead of Bosh, Bosh is the weak link and will be the primary reason why they don't win the Chip this year... Too soft to come up big for an entire series in the late rounds of the playoffs... :smh:

The NBA can severely cripple the Heat's offseason possibilities if they don't have a MLE in the new CBA.

If there's an MLE, a quality big man is going to be in Miami sooner or later - and they'll be a real threat.

And this is why they will not beat a healthy Boston in the playoffs... what they need is a good big man to take his talents to south beach. Joel Anthony and Zydrunas aren't gonna get it done

Werd!! That's all I'm saying.. and that being said, who the hell else is out there and available that will make a real impact... Cats on here thing a team is going to win a Chip shooting 3s. Shit look at what happened to Boston last year in Gm 7 when Ray Allen was off?!?!?! No Post game, no Chip! Plain and simple...

Hate to see shit like this happen to a stand up guy like Haslem but I tried to tell anyone who would listen, a few injuries can fuck up the best laid plans... This is gonna be the scene in alot of Heat practices....

Danny Granger is off-loading on the Heat. D-Wade has as many points as fouls, LeBron is looking lost out there. Bosh Spice is is usual soft ass muffin pie self and Aroyo's assist-to-turnover ration is a complex number.

Eric Dampier to the rescue!!!!

:roflmao:
