They won that one game, but they are so inconsistent its horrible. Example, they can't beat Boston to save their lives, but, the Thunder beat Boston last night without Durant?!?!? Tonight, Haslem got hurt, and the thing is, outside of the Top 4, Miami is fucking paper thin, and D Wade or Bosh have never been the most durable Players around, so quite frankly, Miami MAY be a 60 win team, LeBron will become disenchanted, and I don't see them staying together for the duration of the contracts they just signed. They definitely won't win a championship this year, and they have wrapped SO MUCH money into the Big 2.5 (fuck coat tail riding B Level ass Bosh), they don't have enough cap room, money to bring in the type of quality they need to get to the next level, so it's what you see is what you get. The only thing they can hope is that Boston gets old quick, Kobe and the rest of his posse start to slow down a little bit, etc. But, the rest of the league will continue to improve so it's not a given they will evolve into a perennial championship team... Damn shame too, shit just might blow up in their faces...
there is a lot of truth in this ^^
i was a d Wade an bron fan at one point and their attitudes/ego will not stand for 7 seasons of this. especially lebron dude is so thirsty for a ring so he can start catchin up to Kobe an MJ
In addition to this, what superstar, after having seen all the flack LeBron took signing with Miami, will really want to have their legacy tarnished by ALSO signing with them, especially if they don't win a chip in the next year or two? Actually, they have made it easy for Stars to unite and galvanize a team built to BEAT them since the media and fans hate them so much. Hypothetically say Melo and CP3 sign with the Knicks to join up with Amare, that big three would be more dangerous and versatile than Miami's, and would be loved because now they are set to beat the hated Heat! If they didn't do all this 'The Decision' side show, and smoky celebrations and shit, it might not have been too bad. Then LeBron talking about wining 5,6,7 Chips?!?!? I think they just clowned themselves a little bit. The only thing Miami can hope for in seriously improving their team, is for a star at the end of his career, willing to sign for leave veteran minimum or mid level exception, etc. looking to latch on at win a chip before they retire. But you saw how successful that can be when Malone and GP tried that with the Lakers (yeah I know GP was successful with Miami, but there is no prime Shaq to be found on the Heat this go round). It's funny how in the summer, the league and all of the Heat fans were partying and shit geeked over the signing like they were just going to walk over the rest of the league, and while I would have been excited if this was my home team, a true basketball mind would have recognized that they had built a one dimensional team with no flexibility or adaptability, and while all of the leagues regular season highlights are centered around parameter play, the Chips are won with balance and at least SOME post play, which makes the Lakers and Celtics so special. Now, you got Dudes like Dayne, putting up WHOLE NEW THREADS and breaking out the dancing .gif everytime the Heat win ONE game, no matter who it is against, T-Wolves, etc. Really Sad....
