Sounds good but guess what? GD got Boogie Cousins now and he ate Clint Capella’s lunch last time out.. not only that they added Bogut

GS prob last year was their interior defense they had no legit center... now they have 2..

Dubs going to want to prove a point this year and try to sweep Houston.. not only that people still forget Iggy got hurt in that Houston series..

My concern is CP3 getting hurt because he goes all out when playing GS and that hammy ain’t getting better

Now what the seeding set... Lets revisit the early season predictions...

My "barring injury" disclaimer pretty much saved me with LA and NO.. The other 6 (7 i had paperclips as injury sub) i got. playahatian shit the bed bigly i believe..

This will be the first time that i can remember where playoff standing cant be deduced by looking at the standings in early december..

Wild wild west indeed..

Barring injury, i have..

GSW, DEN, OKC, BRONS, HOU, PORT, NO, SAS (outside shot at 8th seed: paper clips)

yea sounds about right for me as well.

I think the Clips will be there all the way until the end; I also think Jazz will fight and Memphis will fight also; Im not sold on Spurs, NO, or Lakers at this point; Hell im not sold on Rockets either; It will be interesting to see the shuffling that takes place over the month of Dec....

Subtract- Denver and Memphis

Add
Rockets because the owner will make something happen!!!

Spurs or Jazz both teams too deep and talented...I think things will work itself out for either probably both!!!

Clippers surprised me with this hot start along steady energy they're bringing every night.

Health is critical as we seeing already....

Pelicans(as always), Dubs and Jazz

Hmmmm....

this PRE ALL STAR BREAK

hell PRE Christmas but....

Warriors, Lakers, Clippers, Grizz

Thunder, Wolves, Nuggets, Pelicans

I think RIGHT NOW?

the Spurs aint gonna make it (I'm saying this in NOVEMBER!)

Grizz stay healthy they in

No Suns No Kings No Jazz No Mavs.

Man, I was looking at this absurd shit last night.

Sun ain going.

I don’t think the Spurs are going nor the Mavs. Timberwolves ain’t going either.

I see the Spurs missing the playoffs.

New Orleans is dependent on how many games Anthony Davis misses this year

Houston will turn it around

The teams just got off to a slow start at that point.
Only difference would be the lakers somewhere in there.
Utah is better than new orleans
rockets weren't gonna miss the playoffs

I def didn't believe in the suns/mavs/kings/wolves
Denver was the wild card they maintained it the entire year the rest of them went back to where they belong.

Come on man stop the bullshit and just be real. That's the shit I don't like. You knew what the fuck you were doing when you put that shirt on. :smh:

He's trolling a fan base that, along with the local media has not really criticized him. He put up great numbers but didn't win, the Saints effectively shielded him (almost like a big brother)

How is he gonna handle big time criticism in LA, NY or Boston?

28 and 12 with only 33 wins ain't gonna get it in those spots.

Salute to Dirk. A Champion and an all time great. Thanks for the memories.
Man I had such a love/hate relationship earlier on. IN hindsight......I found out it wasn't him I couldn't stand it was his dick riding ass fans who wouldn't acknowledge his flaws at the time.......but damn what ride it was. He brought a ring to Dallas. Shit he really brought 2 and didn't dick ride no one to do it either.

Sources: Griffin agrees to be Pels' executive VP

David Griffin has agreed to a deal to become the executive VP of basketball operations for the New Orleans Pelicans, league sources told ESPN on Friday.

The immediate mandate for Griffin is unmistakable: Navigate a trade of All-NBA star Anthony Davis that'll shape the future of the franchise.

Griffin will have full control of basketball operations, league sources said.

Here's how the Pelicans should approach a crucial offseason.

Griffin left his job as Cleveland Cavaliers general manager in 2017, punctuating a tenure that included the Cavaliers winning the NBA title in 2016 with LeBron James. Griffin spent 17 years in the Phoenix Suns' front office.

Danny Ferry had been the interim GM after the dismissal of Dell Demps in April, and he told ESPN earlier Friday that he had withdrawn from the process, citing a desire to keep his family grounded in their Atlanta home.

"I let the Pelicans know throughout the process that, for a few reasons, the timing wasn't right for my family to move full-time to New Orleans," Ferry told ESPN in a text message. "It's a great job and deserves a full-time focus."

The hiring of Griffin, 46, is expected to come with an upgrade in staffing and resources committed to the franchise, sources said. Griffin has been particular in selecting his next job after leaving Cleveland, pulling out of searches in New York and Philadelphia when the circumstances didn't feel like a fit.

New Orleans owner Gayle Benson has expressed a desire to further invest in the Pelicans. She also owns the NFL's New Orleans Saints.

Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry worked with Griffin with the Suns, and he interviewed Griffin for the Cavaliers' head-coaching job that eventually went to David Blatt. Gentry is a favorite of the organization, and he was expected to return next season regardless of the front-office hiring, sources said.

Davis demanded a trade earlier in the season, and he could become an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
