Yeah, Steph could have smash Kobe record at any point during his MVP season.

@largebillsonlyplease

Real talk...

WHY do coaches historically pull players BEFORE they set these scoring records?

Is it that they don't want to show up opposing coaches? Or other players?

Is it for fear of injury or the other team trying to hurt them?

And why the player always appears OK when the coach pulls them?

If I was a coach, it would be because of injury.

Most of those game where Steph had like 50 or 60 through three quarters, they were up by like 30. There is zero need to risk your best player on a fluke injury to a meaningless quarter.

Like last night, he did his thing. But they only 3 or 4 games into the season. There is really nothing to gain or prove unless he really wants to break a record.

I think if the game was closer, his high scoring game would have more meaning to it. But a blow out? I’d sit by best players too. Lol.

He could have easily scored near 100 in that game if he wanted. Kobe was selfish when he scored 81 pts he played the whole game plus OT. It's been plenty of times guys have gotten close and didn't even play the 4th quarter just like Steph didn't.

Lakers were losing and the game didn't go into overtime fuckboy. What the fuck are you talking about?

Kobe outscored the entire Mavericks team through 3 quarters. That same Mavs Squad was whooping the Heat until Stern called the Refs out for Wade. Stop it.

That was so long ago I thought it did go overtime, I just looked at the game info and saw that it didn't, but it's not a big deal like you made it with your name calling. It's all good though. Kobe still was a bitch for trying to stack points just for his own selfish ego.

Kobe has stacked points before, that's not a lie, but the 81 point game and the massacre against the Mavs were not them. Lakers were getting their asses kicked against the Raptors and The Mavs were the number 4 seed in 05 and represented the west in the finals.

If he stayed in everyone would cry like hoe ass bitches about

And the players who are getting hoed on the court would try and physically harm him for being a better player cause that's how you supposed to respond when someone is superior (which is funny considering we allowing that to be something we subscribe to when that's a cac white supremacist tactic but that is not this not a race issue so I'll leave that alone)

So you sit him
He'd hit 70

It makes klays even more absurd. He had 60 is 29 minutes

Also when Steph scores those kinds of points it's a blowout
So his points actually have immense impact

The 81 point game was a selfish act. He never got his teammates involved in the game which is what a real team leader suppose to do. He never tried to make his teammates better all they did was passed him the ball so he could jack up his numbers.

But what the SHOW!?!

ENTERTAINMENT

So then the 100 point game will never be broken?

Steph is a showman.

He could slip on sweat and be injured just like last time.

They muscle Steph already.

That being said

I can't argue against any of your points.

Only if the game is close
But when he scores shit like that the game won't be

He'd have to score like 30 thru 3 and then 40 in the 4th... If he or anyone on that tier has 50 thru 3 games over

But you telling me just seeing TRY for 4 quarters wouldn't be epic historic film?

Kobe game isn't really riveting

In matter like u said on the low Klay performance was INCREDIBLE

Now they DEFINITELY should have left him in.

Just not gonna happen if the game is a blow out.
Cause of the regular rotation. He sits to start the 4th every game so if they keep the lead or extend it from when he sat down then you can't put him back in. if they lose the lead he'll come back
they don't generally lose the lead in those games

Shit this why I often say Lebron should have some of Floyd Maweather folks in his ear. I think the Lakers preseason shot up the moment Lebron announced he was joining them. Fucked I'll be like "They coming to see me,so I need something off of all that, ticket prices went up instantly, oh yea"

Gear
Parking
Tickets price
(I'd even looking in money from televised games)
Sponsorship/ advertisement

I'm looking at all of that

Question

Why are blow outs ok in high school and college?

And even in baseball and hockey.

And in some ways even NFL..

But NBA...its a problem.

It's only ok in high school
Everywhere else sore losers don't like to be reminded they trash

Never forget the ppl making these rules are the same ppl talking about civility politics and shit
Both of which I've never subscribed to

@ Mr Talc...

Buddy doing what he always does...

I went on ESPN to see what time the game comes on tonight and the first thing I see is Mr. Talc injured his foot....

I might not watch the game though. I was depressed after watching that 3rd quarter last night.

They could have gotten way more for Kyrie yet they allowed the Celtics to jack them...

It looks like Cedi might pan out right even though he stills need more work especially on defense but this stupid ass coach never wants to play Zizic.

How you came up with that name again

Talc is the softest mineral in the world...It fits Kevin Love perfectly.

And,Mr. Kardashian needs to shut the fuck up.....:hmm:

People forget the 81 point Kobe game was not because he was left in during a blowout or was selfish. They trailed until mid 4th qrt. Toronto wouldn't double him and made it a mission to force him to shoot by doubling other Lakers forcing one man to beat them. Very few stars get put in that position and still win the game for their team.

Dude, I watched it live. His teammates couldn't do shit.

Look at the Box Score. look at the shooting averages and look at the team. How many were in the league 2 years later? Look at Lamar Odom now. He had a WNBA squad and took them to the playoffs.

We can agree, all of them are great. Cheat code is some shit I have never seen though. Give me Iceman, Kobe, Steph on the same squad. They will be dysfunctional but hella fun to watch.
