:roflmao3: but shit he has a point. Although the Nets are better than people are giving them credit for. To beat the Nuggets in Denver showed some real heart. That Levert kid is a baller and he plays defense. DEFENSE!!! lol

Y'all need to play Beasley or Juancho over Craig. Millsap has been underwhelming. Bout time Lyles gets more playing time

Where was Melo tonight?
Houston Rockets in talks with Carmelo Anthony over his role on team

The Houston Rockets and Carmelo Anthony are discussing his role with the team and how the franchise and 10-time All-Star forward still might be able to proceed together for the rest of the season, league sources told ESPN.

Talks are ongoing, the sources said.

Anthony, who missed the Rockets' game against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night because of an illness, signed a one-year, $2.4 million veteran's minimum contract with Houston after agreeing to a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks before the season.

The Rockets would be responsible for paying the 34-year-old Anthony that contract should the team decide to waive him.

Houston is searching for answers with what has been a sluggish start to the season on offense and defense. Anthony and the Rockets were both enthusiastic about his reunion with coach Mike D'Antoni in the preseason, but both Anthony and the team -- which has had injuries and lost key personnel in free agency -- are off to a slow start.

The Rockets had the NBA's No. 1 offense a season ago but have dropped to 26th overall in the team's 4-6 start.

Anthony missed 10 of 11 shots in the Rockets' 98-80 loss to Oklahoma City on Thursday night. He is averaging 13.4 points on 40 percent shooting this season.

A year ago, Anthony had his poorest offensive season in the NBA for the Thunder, who traded him to Atlanta in the summer.

Basically what @LSN said.

Dude is washed as a player.

He really doesn’t have a role. Rockets’ didn’t have a problem with scoring. They just need to add so more depth on the off season.

GS didn’t just bring KD in for scoring, he is a defensive presence for them as well. Melo has never really been a defender. Just a scorer.

Rockets fucked up by getting rid of so many pieces.

Teams get close to beating GS in the playoffs and then immediately destroy the one thing that gave them a chance.

Like I have been telling folk around here. When you play GS you are no longer playing against talent. You’re playing against experience and GS doesn’t lay down easily.

Also, Lonzo Ball stinks.

he really fucking does...rondo has stolen his confidence completely it seems...dude had one great game all season when rondo was suspended...having LBJ on the team has kind of “nullified” what lonzo does too

What happened?

Also, Lonzo Ball stinks.

The Cavs needed to score to win the game but Sexton had two chances to win the game...I knew he had problems scoring near the basket but I didnt know it was this bad.

Everytime,I see him he always misses a layup.Maybe,he lost his confidence due to the bullshit with this team but it's no excuse to constantly missing layups.
