he really fucking does...rondo has stolen his confidence completely it seems...dude had one great game all season when rondo was suspended...having LBJ on the team has kind of “nullified” what lonzo does too

Not true, because Lonzo doesn't need the ball and dribble a lot. Kyrie and Lebron worked.

Melo isn't a spot up shooter, he's a dribbler and then shooter

He needed to practice shooting off the dribble a lot during the summer

He's getting the blame, but it's the team overall

Melo needs to be cut then go to Golden state

Melo is washed up, I had high hopes for him coming to the Rockets but he has the worse defensive rating on the team. If he can't knock down shots, hes a major liability. He shouldn't even be the 1st person coming off the bench.

Another thing, CP3 is on his last leg too. It was a big gamble giving him that contract & it look like dude fleeced the Rockets big time. I thought we could get one or maybe 2 good years out of him on that contract but it's not looking good.

Rockets have the oldest team in the league & its showing. Athletic teams with less talent are just out hustling them & blowing by them. I don't see how Daryl Morey can fix this mess. It feels like they're still emotionally drained from that GS series.

I think it shows what happens when you don't really take care of your body.

I thought Melo's game would age good because he never had any major injuries and he never depended on his speed.

and yeah I knew the length of CP3's contract wouldn't be good, because of his height and age. One thing is he was always a good defensive player and as he gets older his defense is going to slip. You can't have two bad defensive players in the back court.

Jimmer Fredette scores 40 in 4th, 75 overall in Chinese Basketball Association game

Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette scored 75 points in a Chinese Basketball Association competition Sunday, a new career high for the ex-NBA journeyman who is currently playing his third professional season in China.

After a slow start, Fredette found his groove and went on a scoring spree in the second half of the game, getting 40 points in the fourth quarter alone to set a new league record.

However, Fredette's performance wasn't enough to lead his Shanghai squad over host Beikong in a 137-136 loss. After Fredette scored on an acrobatic layup to put his team up by two with 7.2 seconds left in the game, Shanghai couldn't stop Beikong's Pierre Jackson from draining the game-winning 3.

"Absolutely sick about the loss tonight. But what a game it was! Proud of our guys for fighting back," Fredette wrote on Chinese social media after the game.

Since joining the CBA in 2016, Fredette has drawn many Chinese fans with his scoring ability and affable personality; Shanghai Sharks fans have given him the nickname "the Lonely God." In his inaugural season, Fredette scored 73 points in a double-overtime game, a record he held until Sunday.

This season, he's averaging 38.3 points per game and is leading the league with 3.9 steals per game.

After being named the Naismith college player of the year with BYU in 2011, Fredette was the 10th overall pick by the Milwaukee Bucks in that year's draft, but he never matched his college success in the NBA. The 27-year-old has played for the Sacramento Kings, Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans and New York Knicks.

The Celtics they have the pieces but they have a few flaws. The east is their's to lose.

The Raptors may win the east. Right now best team. Could make history for Canada if they make the finals.

The Bucks will be a top four team with a MVP type guy.

The Sixers will be better with Jimmy.

Melo might be getting waived. :smh:

Damn, who would want him. :dunno:

I don't think so

They don't have the chemistry they did last year with fitting in Hayward.

I think it's Toronto's
