The last time the Lakers signed 2 hall of fame superstars past their prime it ended bad. As good as LeBron is, he's 16 seasons in. Father time is undefeated and by the time we get him "help" it might be too late.

I'm objective. Of course I want the best players on the team, but I just don't see KD, Clay or even Boogie coming. You can get a player like Beal, but is he going to get us over the top? I think all four of our youngsters belong in the NBA but they may not be fully ready before father time shows up.

My hope is that BI can turn it around this year and be consistent. Then if we pick up a B+ player next year that should be enough to compete for a title. Usually things have gone our way but since Stern killed the CP3 trade cause Dan Gilbert cried, Jim Buss signed Moz and Lou Awwdang and the Kobe fiasco I don't see it.
