No he's not, he's a small point guard without elite athleticism.
He's shot will get there. Steph is small and nor athletic but he gets to anywhere on the floor with his handles. Trae can make his mistakes this year. Shoot all the 35 foot 3's he wants. Its a learning process. Most importantly they're looking for the prize at the end day and that prize is a chance at Zion or Rj Barret.

So does Lebron have the flu also?

It seems like Javele and Chandler have it

Do basketball players get the flu shot?

Sources: Warriors committed to matching any offer sheet for holdout guard Patrick McCaw

LAS VEGAS — The Golden State Warriors are still prepared to match any offer sheet for restricted free-agent holdout guard Patrick McCaw, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

McCaw, 23, has held out this season and stayed away from the team in an attempt to secure a contract of his liking or in hopes that the Warriors would renounce him, setting free the No. 38 pick in the 2016 NBA draft to sign with any team without restriction.

With the new year approaching and with second-year wing Alfonzo McKinnie, 26, remarkably earning a roster spot and cracking the rotation, the defending champs haven’t budged on their stance to maintain McCaw’s rights, sources said.

Although there is interest from rivals in poaching away the versatile 6-foot-7 guard, teams have received word of the Warriors’ intentions and remain hesitant to submit an offer sheet, sources said.

The Warriors can match any offer sheet McCaw receives from another team.

McCaw has earned two championships with the Warriors and has career averages of four points and 1.4 rebounds. He’s in good shape, sources said, as he works out in his hometown of St. Louis.

Steph has two or three inches on Trae

People like to compare Steph to players as if Steph isn't a freak like KD or Lebron.

People need to stop.

Just like Ingram, well he's skinny with long arms and has some handle...he's KD.

What's the learning process for someone shooting 25%?

They still could have been looking for that prize with Luca:dunno:Trae is not gonna be nowhere near Steph; he doesnt handle the ball close to Steph handles and his shot is far from Steph; they got the wrong guy but that seems to happen a lot with Atlanta sports/teams....

Not saying he's gonna be Steph. Last I checked he was averaging 15 and 7 with just shy under 4 turnovers & around 30 min a game. Ball handling can be improved in the off season. Right now he's the "tank commander". I expect him to be a solid point guard in the league. Rather that translate to being an all-star or at worst a 6th man.

It's too early to write that kid off, he just turned 20 playing against grown men. I say give him a couple more years.

I agree, Steph is a freak not really physically but just an anomaly of a shooter we've never seen before.

A solid player at the 3 pick in the draft isn't good drafting. An organization needs at least a star at that position! I don't know what he's gonna turn out to be. But he's no Steph and I think Luca will be the better player. And I don't think it will be close....

A bunch of players don't turn out in comparison to their draft position. I'm just saying Young will be fine. Luca will probably be the better player going forward as he is now. I was just making a case to not call Trae a bust so soon.

LaVar Ball says he doesn't want to see Anthony Davis ballin' with Lonzo on the Lakers ... 'cause the BBB honcho tells TMZ Sports, the team's "got enough people."

"They got enough," Ball says.

Of course ... LeBron James might beg to differ -- dude told media members just a couple days ago it would "be amazing" to see the Pelicans superstar in purple and gold.

In fact ... reports say James and Davis had dinner after the two played against each other at Staples Center this past weekend.

But, the Big Baller says Lonzo, Bron and the Lake Show don't need the big center ... tellin' us straight-up he wouldn't even find it cool to see!!!

Obviously this is Lavar trying keep his kid from ending up being included in a trade and I can understand that and really have no issue with it.

But I'll say this, Gayle Benson's advisors better advise her to make it a point to not bring the Ball family to New Orleans, do not include him any potential trades that you do with Lakers.

Eric Gordon never wanted to be here and his poor attitude turned a lot of people off. The last thing this franchise needs as it begins to head into a rebuild is a kid who openly does not want to be here and has his very visible father along with him.

Yes. The type of shooter that has incredible handles. Vision. The ability to get his shot off the dribble from anywhere or shoot off of off the ball action who can finish great at the rim so you can't crowd him and can also make the right play

I'm not calling him a bust by any means. I just think the hawks fucked up with the trade. I think Luca will be the best player from that draft. I think that's what the hawks needed. Not a serviceable player. Serviceable players don't turn a franchise around .....

Nobody thought Luca was gonna be this good including you so I can't blame the Hawks for that. It's just too early to define if they were right or wrong. Too early to define Young as serviceable.

Bottom line on the Lakers is this...........they are a good team, not great. Time may not change that. Media and fans expect more from this team than what they are. Other teams don't give a fuck about the Lakers or their history. Nobody's kissing their asses or helping them get better. A massive trade could very well make them worse. I'm tired of hearing about these niggas. :smh:

I thought Luca would be the best player in this draft; I didnt know how soon or fast he would develop but I thought he would eventually be good; I never thought Trae would be a good/great player; I thought he would be serviceable; and serviceable doesnt deserve a top 5 or 10 pick; so I do blame the Hawks for that; just like a blame the sixers for getting fultz instead of tatum; but hey he could turn out to be better than serviceable though:dunno:

Well if you thought that Luca was the man then my bad. You were right. You need to play the Powerball. The reality is who knows how these guys are gonna turn out. There's no guarantees in the draft. Fultz shows potential with his ability to get to the basket but Tatum is a beast. Who knows how good Flutz can be. Only time will tell. Were quick to want to define these rookies and were not even halfway through the season.

I'm a Laker fan and if you look hard enough you can probably find a post of me saying how I rather keep out young core instead of signing Bron. The Lakers tried to curve expectations on the season early on but no one expected the Rockets to just fall the fuck off. Now the West is wide open behind GSW and Bron ain't getting any younger, so if there's a slight crack that they can pull off a AD trade or GSW have an injury then they gonna try their hand.
