i never said it couldn't be done
but they'd have to play way better to do it.
dudes talking about they'd abuse the spurs... are you fucking kidding me?

note....I didnt say that

bills you know me....I am always tempered in the things I say

Plus I still want Spo to improve tactically because honestly he gets away with the things he does because he has 3 amazing guys

clearly

why are you changing the way you been playing all season?

Ibaka needs to be on the floor until he fouls out

the fact that he didn't even have a foul says it all

Man Duncan will rape that dude terribly in the paint. Ibaka is only a good weak side shot blocker. It will be very difficult to match up with him one to one.

Kenny explained it best last night how the Spurs offense keeps Perkins and Ibaka out the paint. Pick and roll with Parker and if that fails pass the ball to Duncan and do a dribble hand off to Ginobli. Simple and very effective offense. But nevertheless Ibaka needs to be in the game. But the Spurs are going to force him to take jumpers and that to me is

Damn, the Spurs wasn't even hitting 3 like they usually do :smh:

but not nearly effective enough to abandon ship right away.
he should have tried to impose his will instead of trying to play chess
play checkers

if you go small, ibaka/perkins/muhammed are the 5 and the rest are interchangeable

i don't even think they needed to go small honestly, if any of the perimeter players would run a clear pick and roll or throw it in to ibaka i think they'd be surprised he can actually ball and does have some skill, he just doesn't get enough touches.. and his presence on the inside was damn sure missed he was blocking shots and intimidating
perkins at this point is just too slow footed to be the off the ball presence he once was
Yea... I "assume" he went small to disrupt the 3point shooting of the Spurs. Guys like Green function in the corner, knocking down the open three when the Spurs play inside out in a traditional set. By going small i "think" Brooks intended to disrupt that and keep the game high pace. Unfortunately, this team is equally effective playing both styles of play.

Will be interesting to see what adjustments OKC will make. The Spurs are a well oiled machine that plays with discipline and fundamentals.

Too many possessions where Durant does not even touch the ball:smh:.

You think?

Man I have watched a lot of Thunder games and touches for Durant doesnt seem to be an issue.

I have seen entire consecutive possessions where the pill never touches even touches his hand he be in space and shit:confused:. He does not need to take every shot of course but he should at least touch it possibly create a play for someone else.

It is not an issue now because KD is humble. However I seen too many bad possessions and turnovers to say it should at least be taken into consideration. Notice how the Spurs move the ball, big difference just saying.

yea but he doesn't even need to do it if they go small, if they go small keep your guys inside. they only get open 3's if you double and they don't need to double anyone.

they need to let them try and get inside work ibaka was beasting.

we'll see if they mad the adjustments tonight. they can guard the spurs they showed they can.

keep ibaka in
keep perkins for duncan if duncan isn't in perkins isnt in

harden/westbrook/durant go to the bucket and nothing else.

and rebound the basketball

brooks didnt make the adjustment..who is seffalosa in there to stop?

theres no point in having him in

good of durant to go to the cup

the spurs go over the back more than anyone

good offensive flow for the spurs
parker doing good

westbrook needs to be a point guard on both ends or sit down

okc isnt intense

OKC still hasn't made any adjustments. Honestly I know don't what adjustments there is to make. They are getting hit from every position.

The Spurs are a fucking offensive machine.

I haven't seen a team with so many unselfish players with such high BB IQ. One of the best passing teams I've seen in the NBA in years.

You look at this roster and you don't see any guy that can dominate his man offensively on a routine basis other than Parker...and even Parker IMHO while really good, I don't look at him on that Rose/Paul level.

They just have a lot of high BB IQ guys who can shoot, catch and pass.

And the best coach in the NBA.
