Trump has shown business experience means nothing.
While it's true you can't really know until you wear the mantle and hold the responsibility, there are degrees of knowledge and proximity. Hillary would have a good idea, as well as people who work closely with and serve the president. Trump thought it was all about power and getting his own way. He doesn't understand being constrained by law or being told no.
We could do better (and much worse) than Oprah, and it's our obligation to choose the best out of who presents themselves to run. I find it hard to believe Oprah would be the most qualified candidate.
Those are for profit corporations.

The office of the President used to be an office of leadership as far as the people were concerned. Now that America has been overrun by celebrity cultism, even our cultural leadership depends on it.
Oprah doesn't have a damn clue about foreign policy, which is a huge part of the President's job. There is a reason past Presidents were educated in law and followed the same path to the oval office. America now treats the oval office like a celebrity flophouse. I wouldn't vote for Oprah for the same reasons that I wouldn't vote for Donald Trump.

The rest of the world sees our demise on the rise and they are rejoicing at it.

Voters have always voted for those they identified with and voting for president (as well as other elected positions) the has always been a popularity contest for some time now. The difference now is that people have become hardcore left or right (including many who consider themselves independent voters) and most of this came about due to Obama becoming president and the availability of 24 hr news. That;s when the flood gates open
The party is split between the liberals and the more centrist democrats. The party doesn't have any solid direction and that is the real problem.
The fact that they reappointed Nancy Pelosi to continue to lead the house and signing up to get rid of Senator Franken. Tells you all you need to know about the dems.

Oprah does not want to be POTUS. That means she will have to responsible for the deaths of POC's in other countries to protect this countries interests. I can see her in an advisory role or a cabinet position though.
