yall cant say that this is like 2020 i mean she was old and the legends we still have are gonna go too there old men and women and we dont know what type of problems they have in there normal life.yea its a shame they have to go but thats what happens when you get old.
Not sure why you felt a need to quote and direct this trash at me. I simply said legends are falling. We have lost Mary, Hank, Cicely in close succession.. All legends and icons from an era where we were denied basic humanity. Me noting that fact has nothing to do with whatever point you are poorly attempting to make. Further, this isnt a thread for commentary or critique on others posts. Take that discourse elsewhere.

Mary's bitterness ran deep, even to the point she would always refer to Diana as Diane (her real name). It has been speculated that Mary felt she was the prettiest member of the Supremes and should have been out front more. She may have been but she didn't have the singing chops to pull that off as evidenced by her flop at a solo career.
Mary just couldn't accept she was little more than a backup singer, a pretty one to be sure, but a backup singer nevertheless. Personally imo neither of them could a candle to Flo Ballard in the singing department. I'll admit my judgment may be influenced by the fact that Flo hung with the brothers sexually while Mary and Diana chose to dip frequently on the "other" side. All that said she had a great life and I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
