best farming spot is underground at Mogwhyn Palace with the sleeping albanaurics and shooting that ugly ass crow.
equip the gold scarab talisman for even more runes.

in case you have not made it that far, you get there through that abomination of an area called the consecrated snowfieldGot it. Thanks
be warned though, you have to get past a couple of extremely aggressive rune bears.

consecrated snowfield is just what the name implies
you'll see what i mean as soon as you get there
my immediate thought was "fuck this place"
there are rune bears in different areas.
one of them will try to run you down if i remember correctly
You also access the haligtree from the consecrated snowfied - by solving a fuckin' puzzle of all things

go to the snowfield, get what you came for, and get the hell out of there lol
