i think you're referring to that frog field boss. when you beat certain field bosses you get to 'transform' into them and take on their abilities. on ps5 that is done by hitting R2 and L2 at the same time - which it sounds like you did. unless i missed something.

Nah it's the beginning beginning... The only real boss I've faced is that big ass white dog... I'm about to start that game over because I forgot how things work

there are a couple of bosses before that giant dog. did you happen to encounter that big head dude?



on another note, what games are everybody gravitating to now? what's in everyone's rotation?

I'm pretty sure I'll be getting Planet Coaster 2 before the end of the year... That'll have me set with my story telling, sports, and creative input games

Upcoming, I'm waiting for Wolverine and GTA 6... Every now and then I go back to Gran Turismo when I feel like hoping on the racing wheel... But I'm more than straight on the game selection... About 10-15% away from Platinum on Spiderman 2 and God of War: Ragnarok - just haven't touched those in a hot minute

I prefer to play games offline so while I would love to get the new COD, I know once story mode is complete, that's pretty much it for me...

yeah i prefer offline as well.
got a few games i need to hop back on myself
still need to finish FF7 remake intergrade before getting the recent one that came out.
never did get very far in cyberpunk 2077 either.
all the interaction with NPC's gets on my last nerves, so i may/may not ever finish that one.
reading everyone's posts gives me fresh ideas for games though. that and youtube playthroughs

I’m getting a 2tb nvme for the internal storage this Black Friday
But I’m thinking of just getting a 4TB nvme SSD to put both ps5 & ps4 games on it and have no external storage connected
Currently I have a 2tb external sata SSD for ps4 games
Do yall keep the ps4 games on external drives ?

I was gonna upgrade my storage but at the price point I figured I'll just jump on the pro and. Get the better storage and better performance. Fuck it.

Haven't been keeping my PS4 games anywhere since my og digital PS5 and it's trash ass small as fuck hard drive fills up insanely quick. Hell WWE 2k is over 100gb alone and I don't even want to talk about NBA 2k

I had a switch and got rid of it, I concluded I don't like portable gaming
