A member of the rap group Brand Nubian has been charged with assaulting his wife, police said yesterday.
The suspect, Jamar Allah, 32, was arrested Friday night by police called to his downtown Brooklyn home.
Police said Allah, who goes by the stage name Lord Jamar, had slapped his wife, Dana Witfield-Allah, 27, giving her a fat lip.
Inside Allah’s State Street home police said they found a loaded and unlicensed shotgun and two bulletproof vests.
Allah was charged with misdemeanor assault and weapons possession.
His wife was treated for minor bruises at the 84th Precinct by an EMS crew and released.
He could have invited Howard on his podcast though.

From what I recall of Tysons video addressing this I got the impression that Howard took his assessment of his work/beliefs personal and so I don't think he would have been willing to go in Tysons platform.
