I say....just let people do what pleases them.

If someone wants to shout every Sunday, then so be it.

If you want to stay at home and watch the games every Sunday then so be it.

My thing is....why be concerned about people who are not you and yours?

That's a beautiful concept but unfortunately it never applies both ways. Lets say I decide to stay home on Sunday and watch the game. Whoops, looks like I ran out of beer. Too bad I'm not free to go to the store and get any because of stupid ass laws in this state preventing me from doing that on a Sunday. And anybody with some grey matter between their ears knows that the reason for that law is because of some religion shit.

Of course that's just one example of the many intrusions on my life because of other folks religious beliefs. The whole idea of "let people be" should apply both ways. Stop knocking on my door with pamphlets and other assorted bullshit, judging me for the shit I do. Just let everybody live their lives how they want to live it.

My father have been a Baptist Minister all of my life so I was raised in Church. However, as I have grown older, I have develop doubts in my mind about God and faith-which I don't really want to have but I have questions that no one can seem to answer. My question is why do you believe in God? What has he done for you? and How do you develop faith in something that is not tangible?

i agree that religion has been used to control people

but just because the institution has been manipulated by man does not mean there is no validity
