No knock to playa and the fellow Haitians on the board, but the Haitians that moved into Rosedale in the 90s started the decline of the neighborhood. On the back side of 147th turned into little haiti and thats where all the dumb shit started going down.
Sadly I have to agree. That some Jamaicans and the section 8 two family houses

It was such a stupid thing because all those white folks got completely surrounded by the black folks... And yes.. West Indians and Haitians own Rosedale.

I remember when the Howard Beach incident happened... Let just say.... All teenager whiteboys got GOT on the Ave and Hillside ave. Real Shit.

They don't like us. They want our music, our style, our swag, our athleticism. They want to poach that.

If we all left, let them see how great this country is.

......This vid pissed me off
I saw a part of it yesterday. And was like, ill wait until the week starts to watch this.

I sent it to my boy who is 7 years older. Here's his response

"D, yes I remember all the drama when we first moved to Rosedale! That lasted for about 10 to 15 years we were at the tail end when they annexed 231 not sure if you guys remember that as you were a little younger but basically all the white kids at 231 refuse to go there because of the spike in the black numbers and the busing. They harassed our neighbors the Exums for years the black-and-white family two houses away from us it's crazy how the neighborhood has completely changed now! Racism"

In the 90s 231 & Springfield were the schools where you did NOT want to send your kids.

From what I hear, Springfield Is still bad, back In the mid 80s I went to I.S.59 which Isn't great now either. 59 and 231 were always at war back in the day.

59 is where the “good kids” who's parents didn't want to or couldn't send them to catholic school went. I lived closer to 231 and mad kids from my side bussed it all the way down to 59 to avoid 231. Ma dukes was having
Neither, i went to st. Clair from 1-8

Heres the funny shit, So after I graduated 59 they zoned me to Andrew Jackson (I don't think It's called that anymore). It had to be the worse school In Queens at the time which was the 80s, moms went there to check It out before I went she had told me a group of girls threatened to take her gold chains, needless to say when she got home, she was like, You not going to that school:lol:. Here's the thing though, A to Dah K your younger than me. DaKing may know of this. Moms ended up sending me to this little private charter school on Merrick blvd, the block was In the 220s named Christopher Robin academy, It was across the street from a churches fried chicken spot. MMANNN I was fighting everyday. The kids In that school were Bad,that school let the kids out for lunch on Merrick blvd everyday:lol: kids were getting robbed everyday, that was around the time when supreme and boom bash was running around the area. Needless to say my moms pulled out of there and I ended up In August Martin. Niggas was still getting robbed walking through Rochdale:lol:.
