I remember Christopher Robins. Thought it was elementaryHeres the funny shit, So after I graduated 59 they zoned me to Andrew Jackson (I don't think It's called that anymore). It had to be the worse school In Queens at the time which was the 80s, moms went there to check It out before I went she had told me a group of girls threatened to take her gold chains, needless to say when she got home, she was like, You not going to that school. Here's the thing though, A to Dah K your younger than me. DaKing may know of this. Moms ended up sending me to this little private charter school on Merrick blvd, the block was In the 220s named Christopher Robin academy, It was across the street from a churches fried chicken spot. MMANNN I was fighting everyday. The kids In that school were Bad,that school let the kids out for lunch on Merrick blvd everyday
Moms wasn't having none of that public schools shit. I went to St Clair from 1-8 then St. johns prep for high school. The only reason i even got to got here was because Malloy( where kenny anderson & Kenny smith went. Greg anthony aon goes there mow) wait listed me and Kellenburg was too far of a commute. If you remember you had to take the standardized testing to even go to a catholic high school. You got to put three choices .
Mom was like YOU WILL put Malloy first then kellenburg second, i don't care what you put third. Remember Malloy was all boys back then. Anyway little did moms know , St johns was with all the shits. I was having a ball in there! Maaaaad bitches and some cool cats too. Rolling dice in the hallways fucking in the stair cases a that shit!
First parent teacher meeting she got the shock of her life . This was 95/96 when the grunge/goth shit was poppin for white kids. The school had a decent size goth population. Chicks with purple/green/blue hair with the sides shaved n 100 earrings, nose rings with black nail polish, eyeliner n mascara to match. Mom was livid! Like what the fuck is this??? This is wat im paying 3k a yr for????

yeah most of the NYC middle schools and high schools are trash in Queens. my kids were lucky enough to go to a middle school In little neck I was able to use a friends address. and now they go to Benjamin N. Cardozo High School which Isn't that bad but It has It's moments from time to time.
But we All lived the same childhood. Im 100% sure me and king have crossed paths. we lived on the same block in the same time frame .if i don't know him by name i know him by face.
