Yeah, I just found out. I was about to post it myself. That legendary voice.
Though no one gets off this rock alive, occasionally there are people placed here who impact more than their own lives. People in the arts (acting, singing, performing, dancing, poetry, etc) have the best opportunities to do so.
James Earl Jones was one of those people. As a black man I remember him from Bingo Long to Darth Vader to The sandlot, his voice and presence have been memorable to let little black boys believe that they could be a voice.
That voice will never be forgotten, and neither will the man who gave that voice such a commanding presence..

I caught a part of it late last night. Ironically, it was the part when they're heading back to Africa and he asks the Queen who is he to change tradition, and she responds that she thought he was the King. I asked myself then how much longer we'd have him. :-(
