This is a real talk story I had with an older guy about 35 years ago
Y'all remember when back in the day they were black corner stores everywhere in the hood before the Arabs took over.
When I was about 10 years old, the corner store on the corner of my street I asked the older guy:

I work for the Department of Veterans Affairs and I talked to older veterans everyday. I asked many of the older ones if they have a succession plan, or a contingency plan in place in case they pass away
Most of them do not.
There is a huge benefit for a business having service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) or (VOSB) attached to their business.
Many of the White businesses require their sons or daughters to serve at least 2 years military so that the company can survive and not lose anything at all if they were to pass away
That said, you should have a secession plan of some sort. Someone who has your information, even if it's one of us that we can check in once or twice a month just to make sure the other is okay and if something were to happen to you, they would know:

This is a one of a kind board and boss has devoted himself through all the changes. It’s a level of commitment that someone has to be willing to take on and only he knows what level of dedication is needed.
Anyone that would take on the role will find themselves overwhelmed. If @HNIC really wants to keep this place rolling, then he’ll need to recruit someone now and show them the ropes, but most people on this board are older anyway.

Yeah, I’m having to do that with my organization. The paperwork is wild. I have so many logins and yearly shit, that my org would burn after the first year. My wife has access to everything, but she doesn’t know what to do with it all.
My short-term contingency plan to turn my organization over to my HBCU alma mater. As for as my movie collection goes, we’ll that’s an investment, so that stays with my daughter and I’ll let her determine what to do with it.
I have estimated my black movie collection to be worth at least 20k and that’s a VERY undervalued number. I would value the collection at least 50k and probably more under the right circumstances.
What format is your Movie collection? How do you value it are you part of a collectors group? It sounds interesting please explain.
All physical media and digital format. I have over 2000 black themed films on 4k, Blu-ray, dvd, vhs, and 35 mm reels. Over 3000 in digital format.
In addition, I have many converted over to digital format on 10 TB hard drives. Many I have no converted yet.
Many of these movies are very hard to find and I make assurance to obtain movies in the best visual quality as possible.
I am part of some collectors groups, but collecting black films is a tiny community so I mostly value these films based on what I paid for them and availability.
Streaming services doesn’t offer the same content found on physical media, so I also have tons of extras. For example, over 2000 uncompressed movie trailers, the making of films, documentaries, interviews with directors and actors, music videos, booklets and reading material, and so much more.
