Some of the most impactful posters especially with logical reasoning are older. The younger posters just want to fight over nothing…good luck to this board as the older crew are called up.
I post out of Germany and have six hours difference to the East Coast. My wife knows of the board but doesn’t care much for it. But I gave her my PW. If I move on, I told her to check in and let you fuckers know…

I got my foot on his face and his trolling in most threads has stopped.... he used to troll me non-stop.... found something that gets under his skin...... and when I hit him widdit..... he disappears from the thread.... all you need to see is the way that I reply to him.... it has worked beautifully.

For critical thinkers I think the fluidity in our objectivity is a problem. If you’re looking for a way forward in solving problems (especially social problems), BGOL might not be the place. Our stance shifts too frequently based on what or who is the topic. most people stay silent here because they don’t want to be seen as the enemy. Our younger crew on here also have a mind of their own.
I respect different views and personal take on issues but we seldom agree on the same conclusion. All this has an advantage and disadvantage for people looking to join and contribute positively to a board. Just my take. It doesn’t necessarily reflect others.

I know like me that he wanted to reduce his time on the board to focus on other things and I figured that's why we hadn't heard from him.
