Nip got too big.
Streets ain’t got no love. That’s where nip fucked up at. Too accessible to the hate from the streets.
Got that Grammy nomination. Niccas was like ahh hell no

I don’t think that’s all that it was. Erm was content in his lane and he didn’t need mainstream fame. He was just that type of dude with that magnetic energy who people fucked with.

But since day 1 he’s been on some for us by us shit. Jay was Never oh no black ownership straight out the gate. Jay looked up to white gangsters. Named his shit rockafella.

They saw Erm gaining momentum and really having niggas alter their ways of seeing. That couldn’t have that.

Jay Z co-opted Kaepernick, it's just the way it is. He may have good intentions, but he effectively killed the career of another Black man for his own capital.

Colin is part of us, too, he is the culture also. Killing one to benefit another, just can't be the move. There had to be another way to make a power move.

I ain't fucking with Jay anymore. This was a BAD move.

How did Jay-Z kill Kaepernick's career?

Did he have offers on the table before this deal?

Did the owners & GMs decide to pick Kaep up & then Jay came through am& said no?

Colin is free to continue to fight for social injustices if he choose. That's his fight now.

His fight with the nfl ended when he settled.

He can no longer criticize or talk about the nfl.

And if he can, he hasn't been. Other than campaigning to get back in.

It was never HIS fight alone. It should have been all of US. Kaepernick got fired, settled and now he can't complain about his labor rights? Sorry I disagree.

Yet Jay was one of Nipsey's biggest influences

But anyways, Im not speaking on this JayZ NFL shit yet. Because no one knows what Jay's master plan is , or what the outcome will be. Just a whole bunch of people on the internet with their opinions. I know Corey Holcomb went in on him and Freddie Gibbs though.

Jay wasn’t. And erms death was some hater shit and it’s a lot deeper to it but I’m not gonna go into that on here.

Who didn’t look up to jay as a kid growing up?

The way he parlayed his entire career is some crazy shit. As kids we always admired jays business moves

As an adult you realize that some of these moves are costly and don’t always work out like you thought

Jay started to take notice of Erm when he sold that mixtape for $100

the NFL settled a labor dispute for lost wages with Kap due to coordinated efforts of the owners
That doesn't mean there is no further legal action possible

with the way he has been disciplined in media - I think legal action is still an option for him

You might be in denial. What does any of that have to do with where he fucked up at and how he died

Basically this dude said that Kap and Eric Reid were not as qualified as Jay to lead or represent “the struggle” because they are biracial and where they grew up. Essentially saying that you have to be dark skinned and poor to feel the burden of racial oppression. Then said Nessa can’t speak at all because she’s not black. All in all saying Jay-Z is above criticism for his deal and better suited to lead because he’s blacker than Kap.
wow

Kaep simped for one reason: he’s begging his oppressor to validate him. You got your game checks, endorsements, the NFL settlement AND a new sneaker deal. WTF else do you need from the league? They don’t want you! They confirmed they are racist and don’t give a fuck about police brutality. WTF does begging them for a job do your position of so-called strength??? You look WEAK! Stop begging a bitch ass league to love you. You’re a simp for that!
if what you say if true, what does that say about the Black people still watching and playing for the NFL

Exactly. I been out from day one. Will never go back. Fuck em. And for the people who still watch, they’re on the same level of blacks who don’t vote, voted for Trump, and kill each other over dumb shit.

Its funny. The hood-raised bruhs in the NFL have largely avoided this kneeling shit because:
  • They know kneeling won't do shit to stop police brutality.
  • They are not trying to fuck up the bag and be sent right back to the hood when many of them are supporting their families (something Kap knows NOTHING about - to Wiley's point).
Leading an on field protest for off field reasons is something 96% of black NFL players aren't privileged enough to do.

Why would a black player who is trying to use his earnings to help has family and comminity quit or strike over this. They players were not banned from speaking out against police brutality. The issue was they were supposed to do it on their time. It appears that there wasn't widespread comminication among the NFLPA members about the kneeling. Guys were giving different reasons and rationale behind it.

Oh this is gonna die. No question. Jay wins. As soon as he drops a few "positive updates" throught the media people will STFU. Andeventjose who keep taking will be on the fringe and still watching football This s done.

Jay has athe prominent urban media outlets supporting him. It's fine
