i read this book when Clavell first published it. It and Tai Pan made me want to spend time in Asia. Uncle Sam heard my wish and let me celebrate Tet in the Nam in ‘68. But I did get to Hong Kong later

Read the book - like 4 times already - this movie has too much western style / modern look ..especially for the women ( Noble class Japanese women did not walk around fresh faced with no makeup so already its a bad sign ) -

I want it to be dope but I'm pretty sure this series will suck.
