If you were to look at reparations strictly as unpaid wages reimbursed at the federal minimum wage each enslaved ancestor between 1776 and 1865 would be worth at least $1.2 million. That works out to roughly $10 million split amongst every Black American family with a valid claim. If you have 4 living grandparents, 2 parents, and 3 siblings that's $1 million each.

I'm no mathematician and this is a highly simplified figure, but IMO it's a decent starting point.
