Not really. Both my father (RIP) and my step-father were extremely active in my life. And while they may not have been happy with my decision, their biggest concerns were over my health, safety and decision making process. They wanted to make sure that I wasn't being force fed drugs or being beat over the head by some guy to "make" me do porn. Once they understood that this was a conscious decision and I was sober and continuing with college, they accepted my decision.
