I really don’t rock with them like that, but the brotha Rashard made some really interesting points about the relationship with hip-hop and wealthy white people. On both sides of the aisle we are being used. He tried not to, but he used Robert Kraft and Meek Mill as an example. I need to go back and listen to it some more.

It’s about integrity. A lot of people are upset that several years ago, Snoop was making videos mocking Black artists that supported Trump. Now look. I don’t know what this sick fascination with rappers and Donald Trump. I don’t know if has something to do with wealth and power but it’s a twisted mindset. I don’t know, maybe I am just old school when cats were trying to uplift the Black community through conscious lyrics. I totally get it because Trump could give less than a damn about Black people. He’s a damn racist! And so now you got Snoop and Nelly, two of the biggest names in rap, doing a Trump inauguration. Years ago, this killed Chrisette Michele’s career; she hasn’t been relevant since. I hope people have the same energy for Snoop and Nelly.
