The new offering, called the Payment Supplement, provides mortgage servicers with an additional tool to temporarily reduce a borrower’s monthly mortgage payment by up to 25 percent without modifying the mortgage’s current interest rate.

The Payment Supplement is meant to help those borrowers who cannot sufficiently be assisted by existing FHA home retention solutions because the interest rate on their mortgage is lower than current interest rates. It is the latest addition to a successful suite of FHA loss mitigation options that has kept more than 1.6 million struggling borrowers in their homes since the start of this Administration.

Payment Supplement will bring borrowers current and temporarily reduce their monthly payments for up to three years

Honestly love the city of Detroit
If I wasn’t putting all my money into stocks and I don’t want to be a landlord
I would buy a place on the waterfront

Last time I was there, Chinese investors were being bussed to look at property there

Yup. Outside of that cool ass weather, the downtown area seems to be growing and is nice sitting off the water.

I haven’t been in about 6 years, but it’s a solid city IMO.

Went through Baltimore for an interview a few years ago
The harbor area is so beautiful but I haven’t don’t my research to not be scared of the crime

City has a bad rep
Yeah it does, but it’s pockets in the downtown area that are good. Mostly white folks, but the county is very good and you don’t have to worry about the BS. Very black city though.
