Also, there are a ton of people that bought house BEFORE the housing frenzy that is lock in as well.

My brother has earned at least 100k in equity, but any house he wants is a literal move because all the home prices increase 100 to 200%.

So whatever down payment he drops is only going to put him right back to where is at now with the same type of house and a higher payment.

Sanford, NC is so random, but I understand why.

Exactly, people act like life is all about a gigantic house. First of all that San Francisco house is huge by Bay Area standards and why would anybody need a house like the Texas sized one unless you live with all your family members. Property tax on that Texas house is probably outrageous too. My Bay Area house is to sleep and relax in. We spend more time out doors and traveling. These Texas people just sit around in their big ass houses in the AC all day. Boring as fuck

Why should the state bail those people out. They bought and built those homes there knowing full well a river isn't an ideal place to have a permanent residence. Just like an ocean front beach isn't. No sympathy here.

Been alot of new neighborhood houses being built and some in the process of being built and look like building has come to complete stop. We had a new family purchase a new build at the end of our block during the spring and now they have a for sale sign up and the new house next to it still hasn't been sold.

Muthafucka's in San Francisco ain't going to see the Golden State Bridge or other historical sites in SF.

Them muthafucka's going to work, getting some to eat and taking their bitchasses to sleep like everyone else! :roflmao:

But we already know, location, location, location.

Right but I am sure it's way more things to do - restaurants, clubs, and places to visit in SF than in that area in Texas

Like in DC, this house is almost 2 million, but it's in NW and it's always something to get into, visit, and restaurants to go to..

genIslnoResize.DCDC2096984_1.jpg

Or this condo for almost 1 million

You're right there's definitely more things to do in SF and DC.

My point was most of the people that live in those locations aren't doing them.

Most people are doing and enjoying the things only available in their city.

Most people go to work, eat watch tv and go to sleep. On the weekends go out a couple of times to eat etc but aren't doing most of the things at their desired locations.

I have more to say about it but don't feel like typing

People from DC go to the monuments and museums when they're kids and had to go for school.

Other than that that's tourist shit and they stay outta downtown DC unless it's for work.

Of course there's exceptions like eating, events or lounge\clubs but that's not an every week or weekend thing.

The African American museum's also an exception.

Imma live in a mid-sized city and travel to big city for leisure type guy. And shit, I don’t even want to travel to big cities anymore.

I find myself more entertained being in nature and traveling to national parks.

Definitely man! The older and more comfortable we get, the less we like to deal with bullshit.

And the bullshit is crowds, traffic, chaos and shit that we don't wanna deal with...

And all that equals Big Cities

Wifey and I went hiking in NC mountains this past weekend going to different waterfalls. It was a great time with her and a realization of how simple we have become. She wants to do more things like that and I agree.

We aren’t adventurous, but we enjoy nature. All that big city rush and huge amounts of people are cool with a limit and I think I’m reaching capacity.

this is a sneaky way these mofos are going to take your homes. insurance companies are sneakily dropping properties and then that allows the bank to seize your property.
