I understand but the way I see it I thought Lebron had broke the ice on all that competitive talk when he made his move to south beach. That move opened up the league for similar moves by other players. Since then there has been so much speculation on top tier players teaming up to help each other get a ring I would think moves like this wouldn't matter anymore because it would be clear these players are out for their own best interest not the team unless that team is chalk full of superstars.
So while I understand the competitive edge angle and I do agree I just didnt think this would phase dudes this much that a player did this. It was too soon especially considering they almost beat them but I get it because the Dubs are a juggernaut in the west. This is a ring chasing league now, guys will play with whoever will get them the easiest path to a ring.
