I am a whiz dude for sure !

I also heard great things about the pizza and its on the list.
Lol always a battle between whiz people and non-whiz people. I’ve heard natives claim both sides of the coin so idk who wins but I love me some whiz man. Just slaps.

And that pizza is flames man. Idk what they doing but that sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had and I can vouch for alotta places from DC to Boston and points between.

It’s a must.

No mayo on my shit though. That's disgusting. I'll take mine in chicken though as I don't eat red meat.

If I get a steak in jersey it's cooper sharp or provolone, simply because most places don't do whiz.
Funny thing is I got started on whiz years ago when I was in philly visiting from Chicago, and my first steak here was one whiz with with.
I am from Chicago so I got pretty good pizza taste buds my damn self. I have ate pizza all across the US. I am extremely intrigued with Angelo's, if I go to my office next week I will make it a point to stop.

Tourist trap? No Sir! I disagree! Delasandros is my number 1 goto cheese-steak spot.

When I'm in town it's literally majority locals when I go.

Parking can be a beast when it's crowded but that's a small point.

I always wonder what people who live across the street from the park think as customers are constantly parking and leaving all day long.
Just go to fucking Stella's or Cafe Carmella's. I'm not going to go back and forth.

I be hearing their steak isn't all that. But people gonna always go to the ones the media tells them about the most which be genos and Jim's.

Lines be long as shit at Jim's especially the one in West Philly, me and my folks tried to get a cheese steak over there but left because the line was too long .
That's the joint on South St right? The black and white building?

I'd like to try these but it's hard to get around Philly. Well, to someone from NYC it is.

Yea man, those steaks are terrible IMO. They don’t even try but I get if you not familiar with Philly, you could easily get caught up. It happens. Just know to keep it moving and don’t go back.

I’m not gon derail this thread too much but i’m heading to Chicago in November. Here’s what I got on ya cities list so far:

- Giardano’s
- Lou Malnati’s
- Chicago Grinder & Oven Co
- Portillo’s Chicago Dogs
- Bavettes
- NADC Burger
- Cleo’s Southern Cuisine

Any of these tourist traps???

I can dig it. I simply enjoy my autonomy too much for public transportation but respect.
Yeah, but I don't like to deal with parking meters and have to pay for a parking space in the parking lot. Plus, it's good exercise walking.

If there was somewhere to park, I wouldn't mind driving there.

To each their own.

I'm only speaking for myself.

Better than Lorenzo’s? That’s the last spot I went to when I was in Philly about 2 years ago.

I went to another spot on South Street but can’t think of the name of it right now.

It's not hard at all, if you know your way around Philly, it's easy.

But I can say the same about NYC because I don't know my way around NYC because I never lived there.

lol. If you know your way around any city it's easy.

I'm in reference to the subway - SEPTA. In NYC it's no more than a block or two away whereas in Philly the public trans is more problematic - but also as I said because I'm not familiar with it.
