This and PTI is all I watch on ESPN, but Pablo says some dumb stuff sometimes. Bo should got to FS1 and kick out Nick Wright.
Bomani had higher ratings than any FS1 show-- He would lose a lot of that there.

ESPN cancelled Stephen A Smith's first show, but look at him now. If I were him, another ESPN opportunity is worth a lot more than anything anywhere else.

“High Noon” may be over, but the ESPN careers of Bomani Jones and Pablo Torre are not, The Post has learned.
Sources say both Jones and Torre have new contracts to stay with ESPN after the network pulled the plug on the duo’s debate program, “High Noon.”
Jones and Torre will not be a tandem, but their roles will be similar with components that include contributing on video and audio. They will contribute to shows like “Highly Questionable,” “Around The Horn” and “Pardon The Interruption,” as well as appear on “SportsCenter.” They will have some radio opportunities, as well as podcasts and writing.
Jones’ contract will be a two-year deal, according to a source. Torre’s is a multi-year contract, but it is unknown if it is two or three years. ESPN declined comment.
Jones, 39, and Torre, 34, began their show in 2018 with much hype as it was under executive producer Erik Rydholm’s direction. Rydholm has led the development of PTI, ATH and HQ.
But “High Noon” was created during former network president John Skipper’s regime and it never gained full traction among a mass audience. The timing of the duo’s contracts ending influenced ESPN to make a decision to go forward or abort the show. It already had some audibles.

It originally started as an hour-long debate show before being pushed to later in the day and cut in half. Then in February, ESPN took care of the other half, axing the program from its schedule. When it went off the air, ESPN host Dan Le Batard called it a “victory for dumb people.”
While Jones and Torre will have some radio roles, it is not expected at this time that they will be a part of a potential new national lineup, though it can’t be entirely ruled out.
ESPN decision-makers are looking into how it should proceed on radio in the fall. While Will Cain is expected to leave for Fox News, the network is considering changing up the rest of its schedule, though the pandemic and the uncertainty of sports’ full-time return may slow down some of its plans. It has looked into a return of Mike Greenberg to radio, but it is still uncertain if the “Get Up” host will add even more responsibilities.

Bomani spoke the truth and I hate Will Cain. I hate people who can't see both sides of a coin. Your cushy white entitled life is not the same as, hell Lebron James. James is well known with money and crazy endorsements and still had the n word spray painted on his house. Will Cain have you had honky or cracker ass cracker spray painted on your house, no. Shut up, why is he employed and Bomani is not cause he is white.

Why was a noose there in the first place. I have seen loops, they are simple, one knot. They are in no way confused with this noose.

This post needs to be a thread on it's own. Bomani said today what I've been debating calling in for the past couple of months. Will Cain speaks of America as an Utopia that doesnt exist. I would love to live in the America Will Cain speaks of. Problem, racism does exist. White privelege does exist. Truth be told, everything Will Cain says on this call equals White Privelege. Bomani doesnt let him get away with any of it.

2nd. Will Cain speaks as he and only he is the speaker of truth. WTF. I listen to him and Fox sometime to hear what the other side is saying so I am prepared for any debate. The ego of this dude to think only he speaks the truth is amazing. And Bomani ends the call with this. There's actually an episode of First Take where Stephen A calls Will out on that too.

So no it's not surprising that Will Cain is going to Fox News.

Bomani Jones Signs Contract Extension With ESPN
By Stephen Douglas | Jul 01 2020

Bomani Jones has signed a contract extension with ESPN, the network announced this morning. Jones hosts The Right Time, a growing podcast, and is a regular on many ESPN programs like SportsCenter, Get Up, Outside the Lines and Around the Horn, and Dan Le Batard's radio show among other things. He has been with ESPN since 2004.

High Noon, his show with Pablo Torre, was canceled earlier this year, but the ESPN still seems happy to work with Jones. He will remain one of ESPN's most progressive voices. Last week he battled future Fox News personality Will Cain on his comments about the Bubba Wallace noose story. A week earlier he went after Mike Gundy for a weak apology for wearing an OAN shirt.
