Star Wars series Ahsoka Official Teaser Trailer

I wonder if anyone else had a Rock Em Sock Em Robots flashback like I did watching this episode.
I always love lightsaber duels. OK I was shocked but I wonder if the show will stick to the path they just placed it on or figure out a way to reverse it.
Then again I think what happened in this episode was explained in Rebels so it will still be interesting to see what will be discussed between 2 characters and how things will ultimately play out for one character.

I watched the first 2 episodes of Ahsoka.

Gonna wait until all the episodes debut and binge the last 4.

I have noticed that these 6 episode series pretty much equate to a 3.5+ hour movie.

I suspect a lot of folks are just waiting until all the episodes debut and binge them all together. That’s possibly why viewership is low.

Also this series debuted in the summertime, kids out of school and folks generally aren’t sitting around watching TV, especially for a 30 minute show that comes on weekly.

Like I pointed out in other threads, the new trend is “Subsciption Cycling” with folks starting a subscription, binging what they want/catching up on stuff…then canceling and jumping to another streaming service and repeating.

Like folks pointed out, there are too many streaming services and not enough content to justify paying monthly.

I suspect these streaming services will realize this and either release all episodes at at once like Netflix, or keep track of subscription cycling trends and release content when they know there is a binge in new accounts.

Now that summer is over, kids back in school and the weather getting cooler/colder, good chance subscriptions will slowly increase over the next months going into the new year….then drop around March when the weather starts heating up and days are longer.

Man, bless your heart. After all these years and all the evidence, you still trying. Numbers are low because people lost trust and sat through the movie reboot, mando, Boba, and Obi.

We have plenty of data on shows that have the same release format that do numbers. Most people will sit through weekly episodes if the content is good.

The solution to 'subscription cycling' is simply giving people great content and not this formula of giving them bullshit while yelling at them when they call it bullshit. Total opposite of what has been going on in recent years. All of us that called bullshit on Disney Star Wars were called names and told to fuck off. Now look at the ratings. They need us back and we ain't coming any fucking time soon.

This.episode.was a big ball of fan service but all the kids who grew up on this show are adult geeks and they're having a nerdgasm over it. You know I think I figured out whats wrong with the show. The Show has no " wow moments", feel me. Every " wow moment" that the creators wanted are just " ok moments" or " that was a blah moment". Nothing spectacular or dam or wow etc.. and when one has a show that has certain moments that the creators think are " wow moment" and those moments don't land; now one has a show that just there or un interesting or just ok...and that's what this show feels like...

Most of the people who I've seen who love this are fans of The Clone Wars and Rebels. I've never watched either show and only have a passing knowledge of the Ashoka character.

I like clone wars and Rebels. Clone wars was great. Rebels was good. This show is just ok at best...

I've.watched both of those shows and I never cared for rebels beyond season 1. Those.shkwz.ard no more than Saturday morning cartoons and shoulve. Ever been made.canon. they especially step all over canon and continuity and rebels introduced some.dumb concepts. The world.withi. worlds is a cheat a d ahsoka.shojodve died in that Vader fight. George Lucas originally wanted her to die in clone wars but filoni has a hard on for.her a d trying to make her the face of star wars. I think he has a fetish for her. Who put a 14 year old in a sports bra on a show aimed at kids? Who does that?

The hate is this thread is growing ever stronger. I'll admit that I've hadajor problems with the first 4 eps, but there has also been moments that I liked.

Overall tho, I really think this show would have benefited from the binge watching Netflix model. I'm sure I would be enjoying this project much better had they released all 8 eps at once, and I watched it over the course of a single weekend.

Giving people a week in-between each ep is providing too much time to over-analyze and/or completely forget about this exist.

I'm not steeped in "STAR WARS" Rabbit Hole.
But I'm absolutely LOVING this show.
I'm enjoying it more than "ANDOR". Which was my favorite "SW" series.
And I'm loving it way more than "THE MANDOLORIAN".

"AHSOKA" is so enthralling.
It truly knows how to be Cinematic.
And Ray Stevenson is PHENOMONAL!!!
As is Mary Elizabeth Winstead's ASS!!!
