It's not. Mouse still gettin me to re-up once this Verizon shit is over due to this show. But the the point has been made over the financial failure(relative to expectations) of this last movie. I believe Disney has gotten the point with that, along with the success of Mando that if you treat the fans right, well support it.

The last movie was all fan service. I liked it, but as a life long fan, I realized none of the movies were made to be taken so seriously. They're basically spaghetti westerns in space. Harrison Ford summed it up.

I remember having to see how anakin turned in 2005. I just had to see that shit. Shit was like salmon going upstream or some shit. I should have had the same feeling with these movies. Just needing to see how skywalkers handled shit, but disney ruined it.
I still want to slap the taste out that chick's mouth for saying they didn't have source material so it was hard.
Between the new fans and the diehards, the basement should have been $1 billion.

When you think about what this last trilogy was supposed to have been to atleast 3 generations of fans, plus what have been picked up. This last movie should've been in the conversation of highest grossing film of all time!!! I drug my wife and her niece and nephew to the last 2. Got those little fuckers playing with lightsabers and shit. I move from franchise to franchise buying figures. Next up is the black serious. I plan on buying a good 5-7 characters. The new toys dont sell and that's something else not being talking about. Starwars toys in bargain bins, the Galaxies edge shit being a flop. Disney done fucked it up. Fuck what this movie does or doesn't do. They left allot of bread in the table behind the decisions they made with this last trilogy. I know people want to leave their mark on shit, but when you use existing IPs, you gotta include the core fanbase or you're gonna flop. Same shit with Bays Transformers.
