I like how they kept the continuity of how Luke wields his lightsaber..it was in the style of the OT when they used them excaliber style.
He actually switched between three saber forms in the hall alone. His dad's (Djem So), Obi-Wan's (Soresu) and Yoda's (Ataru).
Kylo Ren is 20years away, maybe longer, from this; I would say your thinking is a stretch...

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I specifically avoided this thread all day. Came in once to look at it that then X out of my browser so I wouldn't ruin it for myself. That was incredible. Felt like I was a kid again. I felt it when I saw the Xwing, the dark colors the Jedi was wearing and the leather glove. What great anticipation, just kept telling my self it can't be. Thanks to a Facebook friend, I already knew Luke was gonna show up. It still did not diminish the moment whatsoever!!!!!!!
I completely agree that Luke taking down the Dark Troopers was a mirror of Vader mowing down the rebels in Rogue One.
Moff Gideon shit a metric fuck ton of bricks when Luke showed up!!!
The Dark Troopers are pretty bad ass. I hope they make more in the future.

I cannot confirm nor deny that I may or may not have shed a tear when Mando gave Grogu to Luke.

Yo. YOOOOOOOOOO..........FUCK!!!!! I just got done watching it and by gawd.....they did that. When the lone X Wing showed up I was like hol up.....then the green saber....then the leather glove..........maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!!!! Loved it all. The parallel to Rogue One.....R2D2....all of it. I went back and watched the Ahsoka episode again after this and just....man......Disney+ giving me that content I need in my life. This was good.
Should just go all in and do a Solo series too..
For me it's Empire, then Revenge of the Sith, then a toss up between Rogue One and RotJ

Only for a quick bit when Luke was breaking Han and crew out from Jabba the Hut.
Bigger question is why would you watch a show you obviously don't like then question the people that do like it? If the shit sucks to you, you didn't have to watch two whole seasons of it. Then you wouldn't have to experience any lame sets, repetitiveness, or be annoyed by any character. So, if you're annoyed, you only have yourself to blame.

This version of Luke is what we should have got in the Disney trilogy. I wished the Disney trilogy wasn't cannon.
