A local chain of fine dining reataurants in BMore, the Atlas Group, came out with a dress code that banned people in t shirts and baggy pants. Niggaz were complaining up the wazoo. Plus, a woman and her 15 year old son went to one of the joints with some baggy, saggy jeans and they wouldn't admit them. And, the righteous indignation from the preachers and politicians was something to behold. Personally, I don't want to be in a restaurant with no dress code either. Lo and behold, 3 of their restaurants are on the waterfront, side by side. They have now become the hangout place for the 20-50 black folks with enough for a few drinks. The chicks look like they save money so they can buy outfits with they tittays hanging out and take pictures with the water in the background for IG. And, because the hoes are in there, the local drug dealers drop by in their 3 wheeled vehicles to pick em up. All, in all, it looks like profits are being made and fashion is being displayed. No saggy pants, just tittays on the bar.

Mothafuckas reflexes are all fucked up.

Imagine getting kicked in the face and turning around and building a temple to shoes.

Unfortunately there is a particular type of crowd that arrives on the scene once a place becomes popular and always end up fucking shit up.
It's no different from a once good/decent neighborhoods/towns being destroyed by the same type of crowd. I'll admit that I've never heard of this place or if the aforementioned crowd is the reason for the policy change. Yet such crowds have been known to change a few policies or so.

I gotta ask, da fuq is a "fine dining experience"??? I eat to get full not so I can write about it or reminisce about how the food looked on the plate or how the waiter kissed my ass. Seems to me that the fine dining experience is just another empty hustle to make people feel exclusive and justify ridiculous phrases like "if you gotta ask, then you can't afford it". I can have my girl serve my favorite foods butt nekkit in the privacy of my own home with my favorite music and candlelight. I don't think Steak 48 could even come close. Now that's a "fine dining experience".
Never been to this place because I don't eat steak, but I've heard from enough people that have gone that it's supposed to be good.
I know for sure that a fine dining experience, whether this place falls under that or not, does not include hoes twerking at the table and niggas yelling out "Aaaayyyyyee!!!" all night long with their cameras out taking videos.

Not gonna lie, I have a problem with this.

They aren't talking about behaviors or anything that will ruin the dining experience of others... this is strictly about appearance and dress... things that can be enforced at the whim of the leadership team on duty... and with what is described this is absolutely targeting a certain demographic...

You think Pappadeaux is fine dining :hmm:
No, but it's a decent mid level eatery. The fact that some of our people line up to dine there like it's a Michelin star restaurant, the literally show their asses. :smh: :smh:

Shit makes me cringe sometimes. Our people acting like cac savages hurts me to the core.

Its not, but Pappadeaux is not cheap.
They raise the prices every year to deter niggas from coming, but to no avail.
Naaaa... Them crab claws be hitting though...

Pappadeaux is just above Red Lobster to me; shit is not good, neither; and I aint going there unless to get bitches; because bitches love Pappadeaux and Red Lobster :smh: :smh: ; There are a lot of restaurants that serve way better food than that place....

I go to fine dining restaurants probably once a week.
Maybe 2 years ago I thought I needed to dress up a LITTLE BIT
I went into a place and there were white women in there with bermuda shorts and flip flops on.

After that? I'm wearing what I'm wearing that day to go eat. If I'm dressed up then cool if I'm not then cool

$100 minimum is dumb shit.

Yeah, the $100 minimum is stupid. That's not going to curtail all the dumb shit going on.
What's to stop folks from ordering a bunch of shit to hit the minimum and then dipping out before the check comes?
