3 straight Finals, 2 MVPs, at least 1 chip possibly 2. The other player won a MVP and went to 1 Final and barely won a game in OT.

He's a much more efficient player and that's not really up for debate. Steph shoots better from 3 than AI shot from the field in his career. Steph's a better passer AND better rebounder. He's also a much better playoff performer save for volume scoring. His PER is higher in the postseason. Thats just statistically. He's also a better teammate and person. To my knowledge Steph has never been on a trading block unlike AI who was before his 2001 MVP season and several times later in his career. Steph already has more individual accolades save for all star appearances. The main thing AI has over him is "street cred" which is what made so many gravitate to him and keeps him propped up. If he played in Steph's era he'd be known as an underachiever and playoff choker. If we take "emotion" out of this comparison, its pretty clear who the better player is. That's not to say the other wasnt a great player or HOFer, he's just not as good as the other.

People who use the number of rings a player has won don't realize that it also has to do with the team around the player. Robert Horry has 7 (yes, seven) rings, but would you say he is better than someone who has is a better player, but has less rings? Hell, Chuck Nevitt has a ring, too.
