And it's incorrect use of the term from the originator, Mr. Neely Fuller Jr. It has now descended down to the level of name-calling. You aren't supposed to call anyone a name unless they self-identify. It's why you're supposed to say suspected "insert name here".

possibly, but if you feel as though your people are being oppressed in nearly all facets of their lives wouldn't you want to shine a spotlight on it.

look i've only gotten through HC 1 & 2 and i'm really not much of a fan of either guy. I mainly know Roland from weekday mornings hearing him on the TJMS and the occasional news clip / blip.... and Tariq I mainly only know from the few posts I catch on here....so i really have no dog in this....

See, this is the problem with arbitrarily determining whose black enough and who isn't.

The overwhelming majority of black people in this country self-identify as Democrat. If a cat like Roland Martin, who has an established record of speaking up for black concerns, isn't black enough for you cats because he supports Hillary Clinton, then you've effectively written off most black people.

I would prefer that Tariq use this platform to educate and put things in more perspective. It seems like he can't differentiate between his podcast and national TV.

On his podcast he can be more raw and direct because he is speaking directly to his audience. When on a larger media platform such as Television, I would prefer he educates and tone it down a bit.

I don't mind him saying race soldiers or white supremacy but put it in the proper context surrounded by a well thought out articulate point of view.
