Doubt she can get it expunged. Expungements are usually reserved for charges that don't end in conviction, at least in Texas. Once the case becomes a conviction, you can forget about an expunction. Now, if there was a deferred adjudication probation, then the record can be sealed, but not expunged.
Certain states allow expungements even after a conviction. But only for certain charges. Violent or drug affiliated crimes generally can not be expunged.
