On Monday, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee met to discuss Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the US Supreme Court and were deadlocked 11-11 along party lines on whether to send her nomination to the full Senate floor for consideration, per Reuters. According to The Associated Press, Democrats have planned a vote to "discharge" Jackson’s nomination from the committee on Monday evening and then will launch "a series of procedural steps in the coming days to wind it through the 50-50 Senate."
