That bitch McNulty was fucking (I think in Season 2) when he wrecked his car drunk driving and went to the diner and ended up at her crib, that bitch looked like a good fuck.

Yeah, that was an underrated bitch. I mean her face wasn't the best, but her body was BAD and she could ride the dick. :lol: I get to post this .gif now.

the season about the shipping docks?

hmm... that was the worse season in my opinion.

they could have left all that shit out.
:dunno:

It wasn't bad, but if you had to pick the worst season of The Wire that would be it. It's like having 5 hot bitches and having to put one of them last.

For what it's worth, season 2 was a good breakaway from the streets. I didn't want to show to become overssaturated about Avon Vs The Police. Season 5 was a good way to wrap up the show, but I think it could've been left out. I just didn't feel any emotional involvement with the people working at the Baltimore Sun compared to the other season's groups.

Still can't believe that people are so negative about season 2

"All the pieces matter"

You see the emergence of the detail as an effective way to monitor crime beyond the low risers and hoods

Funniest part was when McNulty had to pretend that he was English in the hooker sting ....and of course Dominic West is English!

I wonder who McNulty cheated on intially to mess things up with his wife???

yep.

a lot of people say that season 5 was the worse.

i liked 5 with the politics and the media, and like someone else said, the change of scenery and cast is sometimes a good thing.

LMAO @ that nigga trying to figure out the code word. "sp..sp..spot on" Shit, it took me two viewings to see that they gave the nigga head first.

He prolly cheated with a lot of women, but his wife caught him with ADA Perlman. She hired a PI to follow Jimmy and the PI got pics of him and Perlman fucking at a motel.

In the conversation that the unit nailed Stringer on with Shamrock, Shamrock said "And them two hitters you asked on, they good with that." And then Stringer says "Not on the phone." What else would Stringer need two hitters for but to get at Clay Davis? Remember on the Wire no dialogue is wasted.

Damn, you know your shit man! I never would have caught, and I've watched it twice.

I never understood how he could be pissy drunk and bloody and still pull a woman like that! :eek:

Her MySpace page was posted here one time. She was talking shit about Dominic West, saying he was a bad kisser or something. Alt-rock looking chick.

I'M ABOUT TO DROP A MAJOR REVELATION FOR SOME OF YA'LL NIGGAS!!!

Cheese, Prop Joe's nephew/killer, was Randy's father. Randy was the kid from Season 4 who was accused of being a snitch and had his house burned down. David Simon said he originally intended to pursue the story line, but felt he had to much to wrap up in season 5. If you were a hardcore fan you might have noticed they had the same last name. Wagstaff or something similar to that.

Yeah, I peeped that. I was hoping they would wrap his story up too. They wrapped all of the other stoop kids' stories up.

Dookie=Fiend
Naymond=Hopeless becoming hopeful
Micheal=The Next Omar
Randy=???

If you notice Randy had a lot of Prop Joe's swag too.

Yeah, it's too bad they never had an encounter with Randy and Cheese or Prop Joe, he only knew about Marlo and his crew.

But I think they got enough juice for another season. Like Naymond being into politics, Michael vs. Marlo (since he put the hit out), Randy's story, Avon back on the streets starting from scratch or hooking up with Slim Charles, who's running the Westside, plus there's always room for new characters.

In Season 1, Episode 8 (Lessons), WeeBay and his crew ran up in Omar's crib and trash it and burned his van, all while Omar was looking at them do it from another apartment window while the drug addict chick was shooting dope.

My Question is, was Omar a dope user because in that scene while she was shooting up, she asked him did he want to come behind her with a shot.

Was Omar a dope shooter, because from what I can recall, they never revealed any hints, other than that scene?

Exactly. Had that been anyone else (like say a Bodie or a Snoop), they would've went through with it. If you remember when Slim and Cutty was gonna do that hit on Marlo but them lame niggas fucked it up, Slim abandoned ship rather than just go through with it. Also, Slim never said no to Stringer when Stringer asked him to kill Davis, he spoke against it, but didn't decline until Avon told him he didn't have to do it. Even though he knew it was stupid, he would've still done it had the boss told him. Furthermore, when Omar hemmed him up in the hallway, he still wouldn't give up no boss and told Omar to do what he had to do. Definition of a soldier. The only move Slim made on his own was killing Cheese.

On a side note, Stringer was still planning on having Clay Davis killed and was gonna hire out of town killers to do so.

That Cheese murder had everybody in my house cheering. Nobody expected that.

Stringer was gonna get Clay Davis eventually. Woulda been a dumbass move but he was set on that. Damn they need to do a Wire movie like they did for the chicks with Sex in the City. I know it'll never happen but hey I can dream...

Naw my man, Omar only stole the dope, he never used on the show, prob used the drug spot as a hideout like you said and paid in drugs that he stole. Notice, he never cursed during the show. "man has got to have a code" ...David Simon was giving this character a sort of Samurai code...

i agree, but i'm wondering why an addict offer somebody a hit knowing that they don't use dope? :dunno:

she was getting a free blast.. and her inner addict instinctively asked if he wanted "in" on that.. Omar's only vice was young boys and cartons of "Newpoat"

I hate this thread cause it makes me miss the show so much, no other shows has replaced the void it has left.

Oh thanks for answering my question BTW.

Was Butchie (blind guy) related to Omar, I like how they hinted him being psychic and had a visions of both him & Omar demise. I bet he warned Omar many times which kept him alive with his visions.....man that such a great show.

I dont think he was a psychic... if you're in or near the game, you can tell when something's amiss...

I get what your saying but naw I remember that scene clearly. Omar and Butchie where when all of sudden Butchie stop and lookes like he just seen something bad, Omar asked him him what do u see (seemed like he was use to him doing that from time to time) Butchie said it was not good for the both of them. Classic vision like experence, I have seen people do this myself.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she said, "Mr. Omar, you want ENDS on this?" as in, did he want her to pay for it, since Omar was known for rolling around the neighborhood and giving out the vials he'd robbed from the stash house for free.

What if the Barksdale crew had Chris on their team instead of Wee-Bay? Chris seemed to be far more skilled, efficient and professional than Bay.

Do ya'll think Cutty would've been a good strategist like Chris, had he opted to stay in the game after he got out of jail.

Although he did end up in jail - for a murder, right? Didn't they say he killed somebody in broad daylight?

They never followed up at all about Asshole Rawls chilling getting a drink at a gay bar. They never even mentioned it. I guess that is kinda cool because in real life everything doesn't mean something, and all loose ends don't get tied. They merely showed him drinking his drink in the corner of the gay bar (I don't know what season, but I think it was when Brother Mouzone was looking for Omar) and that was it. I thought someone was going to out him or find out about it. Nothing became of it.

Did the follow up on it and I just missed it or did they just scrap it alltogether.

Also, did somebody die in real life who was a part of the show, because they kept showing a picture of a cop in uniform with the intro.

That was mainly a black bar, infact I think he was the white guy they showed inside? Really ..... base on his past racist remarks in the show there could be no other reason why he was there besides looking for what that place was for.

wasn't Rawls like the Deputy Commander or something at that time? it's safe to say that he has been on TV commenting on crimes & such.. so the patrons of that bar should have recognized him......
