When they run short of a storyline, it’s going to jump the shark. I’m still a little pissed off at HBO max for fucking up Lovecraft country, but this is a good show.

I enjoyed watching the first episode with my girl who just got a ps5. She was going to play tlou in prep for the show I told her let’s watch the show first since I already played. We watched the first episode and she thought Sara was going to be the main protagonist… her whole world was torn asunder when she got killed..meanwhile me being the asshole I am laughing my ass of at her tears and disappointment by what just happened. She deleted the game off her ps5 and said fuck the game and the show…a few days later she redownloaded it beat it and was ready by this week episode so she knew Tess was going.

The thing is TWD had more than enough to work with for a storyline. They went far far far left from the source material outta no where and early in the show at that. I had stopped watching after they killed Carl off, but one day took a glimpse at one of the episodes in the latter seasons only to see them driving around in cars and rocking high level optics on their rifles. Where da fuck they getting gas from years into a zombie apocalypse? Where they find them damn Eotech optics? AND WHO DA FUCK IS LANDSCAPING THE GRASS?

Don't think that's happening with TLOU, it's been all but confirmed to be a limited series that will only cover the events of the two games. The story in the second game is a lot better, more characters, much more layered, bigger set pieces, it's last of us on steroids, If they get that one right it'll be excellent.

definitely liked the changes, thought they have tess a better ending in the show. yeah the clickers are pulled straight out of the game, The way they move and everything is perfect.
