Oh well. I'll still take a series win in 7. Lebron is clearly the MVP of this series. Golden State has been playing as the better TEAM.
JR Smith took 15 shots.... and 14 of 'em were 3-pointers.
Out of his 15 shots... he only made 5.... and 4 of 'em were 3-pointers.
Both Shumpert and this nucca JR Smith BOTH played 36 minutes of basketball... and neither one of them could make just 5 layups, or short jumpers.
They could not crossover just one person... take 1 or 2 dribbles.... and just pull-up at the elbow and sink a 12-15ft jumper.... or stick a floater... or finish a layup.
That's awful.

And one thing about the whole Dellavedova thing. Thompson deserved as much credit as Delladova. When he did the switch, he was able to stay in front of Steph without giving him that much room for the shot. His feet were quick enough to cause Steph problems to go with his length.

And these 2 nuccas (Shumpert and JR Smith) .... who both play 'SHOOTING GUARD' positions in the NBA.... CANNOT even perform these BASIC (1-Dribble Pull-Up) SHOTS with any type of regularity / or consistency.
The fact that we have not seen either one of them perform a basic (1 or 2 dribble) mid-range jumpshot SPEAKS VOLUMES about their game & 'work ethic', overall.

They're not running a screen to give him space. He's the primary ball handler.. they're running a screen so that they can get a switch and the dumn ass cavs keep switching...thus.. Curry gets isolated with a forward..which means he's getting a clean look from anywhere on the court..

I've only seen Shaq have it similar to this, but it's much worse for Lebron...you pretty much have to foul the shit out of him to get called for a foul...you get to push, grab, and smack his arms when he's driving and as long as he doesn't lose the ball the refs will let it go
