I seen one exit poll where they said only 20 percent of the respondents said they were doing worse than 2016. It was way less than those combined who said their lives were the same or got better. People voting their pockets/problems first and foremost. The left focused too much on 'sky is falling' politics and people weren't feeling it in their pockets.
All the others are a given, I'm sure that he's observing, but Trump drew an increased % of BM support.

I think about the Midwest states where people are all but forced to work in slaughterhouses that are Covid breeding grounds. The 700 Trump rally attendees that died of the disease. I think about North Dakota and realize that if San Francisco had the same infection rate we would have 1,000 people a day getting sick instead of the usual 40.

Yesterday I was talking to my daughter who lives in Canada. Out there the infection rate is minuscule. They still enforce social distancing and masks in some public spaces, but other than that everything is open.
Then I walk down Market Street and see nearly half the stores and restaurants boarded up which is almost unheard of before Christmas. I used to play three or four DJ gigs a week and now I've only played two since the end of March.
The scariest part is that SF has done better than almost everywhere else in the country and far better than any place that voted for Trump.
