This season finale felt like a regular episode. Like someone posted earlier. These "big" event dont carry weight because you know it wont last! Barry breaks up with Iris but gets back together after one episode. Iris breaks up with Barry but gets back together after one episode. We all know Barry will come back at the end of episode 1 of the new season.
right plot holes all over the place
Jay sacrificed himself for Barry, he could have told Cisco no thanks I have to stay but he left and and was like hell naw im not going back

Thing is that's just a plot device for this season.
Last year before he created Flashpoint the speed force was cool like hey Barry visit anytime, just ease up on the time traveling.
No looks like they going with the Flash Rebirth story. Where flash goes into the speed force for years and Wally takes over as wearing the red suit. They can jump into the future and not have to explain shit like how Cisco powers were farther along after flash point. I predict that Barry will only be away for a year or two on the show.
So Barry will come back and will once again be in the friend zone because Iris has moved on? No matter how fast he runs her pussy is always out of reach.
I doubt they take the story that way between the two of them. They're like each other true love. If she moves on after only a year it makes her character looks like a bitch to the fans.
Sorta like how she always knew Barry had a crush on her and it wasn't until her fiance died and Barry turned into a superhero she decided to give him a chance?
Pretty weak finale. I also felt the acting was really bad this episode a lot of forced crying trying to be emotional when u can tell even the cast didn't feel it. The best part was when flash phased into the Savitar suit. Hopefully Arrow brings it like they have all season.
Time was going to get him eventually but as he was about to attack Barry while his back was turned Iris shot him and he went down, after that time got him
