I have plex server installed on my server. You don't need to pay to get it working. However, it won't work without it running 24/7 on a host machine.
See i have no idea how to set up server.
I could have sworn at one time when i was experimenting it was able to find stuff on my hard drive on the pc.
I'm still not understanding what the plex you pay for offers you different then the free one?
Fam, it is a unique install from plex website called something like Plexserver. I will post better instructions later today, about to get on my grind.

It's a media player for files you already own (ripped/downloaded DVDs, Blu-rays, music, etc.).
Plex also has its own library of movies available for streaming.
All of this is in the free version.
Plex also allows you to stream your content remotely outside of your home (only if your Home Theater PC or NAS is running).
I don't use this feature and it may only be available in the paid version

The difference between the free plex server is only gonna sort your library. The Plex paid version allows you to connect from a Roku, Amazon, PC, Android or iPhone. I have used that on my phone or in hotel rooms on a traveling Roku I keep with my kids.
I have a NAS (WDPR4100) that I use as my Plex Server. That stays on all day. I live in Illinois and I have my parents, a brother, two sisters and a cousin all connected to my Plex Server in Michigan.
Now I also have Emby on a different server (I used to run Plex and Emby on the same server) that does all that Plex does for about the same price for my Porn
yup, haven’t used kodi in yrs. real debrid and all debrid is all i use with my apps

Debrid services (Alldebrid, Real-Debrid...etc) prefetches from some of the links offered. So instead of having to download direct from where they are hosted, you are streaming from the debrid service which have better speeds and connections.
As a result, debrid links never freeze or stutter. Well worth it IMO
That’s the thing it won’t let me download anything onto to the tv anymore. Idk if the tv did a software update or somethin but every time i try to download or install anything it says not supported on this device yet
And as of Monday cinema, kodi and cyberflix won’t play
alldebrid is a multi-host site. rather than paying 10 dollars a month for 1 host site like rapidgator , you pay 10 bucks per month for 20 sites.
So far so good with TV Zion...Much cleaner and more stable than all of the others mentioned in this thread.

Cant even lie..just installed THE SEREN Kodi build on a SHIELD TV BOX... it's beastly... More 4k and blu-ray links with REAL DEBRID..than any app.. dam.. brah
